Gives TFMG casting basins a 1000 mB buffer with a liquid level scaled to the original basin geometry.

Features

This capacity addon changes the original TFMG casting basin buffer from 144 mB to 1000 mB. It preserves the liquid-level range used by the Steam & Steel implementation and works alongside TFMG Casting Fluid Fix.

Usage

  • Changes only the casting-basin tank capacity and its displayed liquid-level argument.
  • Maps a nonempty tank into the previous visual range; an empty tank remains visually empty.
  • Keeps recipe definitions, required fluid amounts, processing durations, outputs and other machine capacities unchanged.

Install matching versions on server and clients. This is a deliberate capacity change: install it when your pack needs the 1000 mB basin. The original TFMG and Casting Fluid Fix are required.

From Steam & Steel

These changes originated in Steam & Steel SMP, our custom Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge server pack. This addon is supplied separately from the full pack.

Beta / Feedback

This is a beta release. The original in-pack changes come from the specific Steam & Steel server pack used and tested by our players. These newly packaged standalone addons have local code checks; compatibility with other packs still needs feedback.

The actual original constructor produced 144 mB; the old native patch and this addon produced 1000 mB. The original TFMG with the five standalone fixes and this capacity addon passed the same 170 casting assertions as the current native implementation, including thresholds, residue, occupied outputs, save/reload, client state and visual levels. A new Minecraft gameplay session with this standalone package has not yet been tested.

If you encounter a crash, an error or unexpected behaviour, please leave a comment with your Minecraft, NeoForge, original-mod and addon versions, plus steps to reproduce the problem. Include a log after removing private details. We will investigate reported bugs and work on fixes.
