About

Description

The Archivist

"You are not playing a game; the game is playing you."

About the Mod

The Archivist is a psychological horror mod that transcends the boundaries of Minecraft by actively breaking the fourth wall. Instead of simply adding monsters that chase you, it messes with your mind. It delivers a series of realistic, paranoia-inducing events intertwined with psychological manipulation to make you question your reality.

Key Features

  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: The mod truly knows who you are. It uses real-world information against you—such as your local time, operating system, and hardware specs—to pull the terror out of the game and into your room.
  • System Interactions: The horror isn't confined to Minecraft. You might experience windows opening on their own in the background or find unsettling files dropped directly onto your actual desktop.
  • Realistic Paranoia: Experience the sound of a ghost miner breaking blocks when you are alone, torches extinguishing themselves, fake fatal crash screens, and a Doppelganger that silently mimics your every move when you look behind you.
  • No Cheating Allowed: If you get too scared and try to switch to Creative or Spectator mode, The Archivist will immediately intervene, force you back into Survival mode, and punish you for trying to escape.
  • Sleepless Nights: Sleeping is no longer a safe haven. Whenever you try to rest, there is a constant risk of being violently awakened and attacked.
  • Chat Manipulation: You might see desperate cries for help or strange whispers sent to the chat under your own username without you ever typing them.

🎥 For Streamers and Content Creators

This mod may display highly personal data (such as your real IP address or Windows username) on screen as part of its horror elements. If you are recording or streaming, immediately type the /archivist safeip command upon joining the world to hide sensitive data (prevent doxxing).

Warning: This mod contains sudden loud noises (jumpscares), psychological manipulation, and intense horror elements. By downloading and playing this mod, you consent to its psychological effects on your system.

Do not look behind you.
