Description
The Deep is a mod that adds a whole new dark, eerie dimension, with resources, mobs, and biomes.
CURRENT FEATURES:
Items:
Inversion serum:
The inversion serum is an item which allows transportion between the overworld and the deep. It has a unique gimmick, where drinking it in the overworld teleports you to the deep, and drinking it in the deep does the opposite.

Recipe ^
Deeproot:
The deeproot is an essential item as it is required for crafting the inversion serum. It is crafted with 1 wheat seeds and 4 deepslate, but naturally generates in the deep.

Whipweed:
The whipweed is a useful plant that only generates in the deep. It can be crafted into 3 string, and so it is good for getting large quantities of it.

Resources:
Nihilite:
Nihilite is the most common resource in the deep. It is a black gemstone with an appearance similar to netherite, that does not have to be smelted. Attacking a mob with any nihilite tool gives them wither, and wearing a full set of nihilite armour does the same when a mob attacks you. It is important to be careful while mining nihilite, as stepping on it gives you wither. Like any other mineral, nihilite can be made into blocks, but these also give wither to whoever steps on them. To circumvent this, you can smelt them to purify them, though purified blocks cant be crafted back into regular nihilite again. Nihilite tools and armour use similar recipes to all other tools and armour.

Ore ^
White diamond:
White diamond is a rarer ore, found deeper underground. For now, white diamond stuff acts the same as regular diamond, with only cosmetic differences. White diamond tools and armour use similar recipes to all other tools and armour.

Pyrite:
Pyrite is an ore that can only be found in the ashen plains biome, below y 70. It is similar to nihilite, in that it applies an effect on hit, in this case setting things on fire, but this only applies to the sword. Having a full set of pyrite armour provides fire resistance. Pyrite tools and armour use similar recipes to all other tools and armour.

Deepoak:
Deepoak is the main and only wood type currently found in the deep. It is good for building because of its nice blue-grey colour.

Ingame ^
Deepstone:
Deepstone is the native stone type of the deep, similar to regular stone from the overworld and blackstone from the nether. Similar to deepoak, it is slightly bluish.

Biomes:
Deep forest:
The deep forest is the primary biome in the deep. It is a dark forest, and currently the only biome where mobs spawn. Deepoak trees, deeproot and whipweed generate here.

Ingame ^
Ashen plains:
The ashen plains is the only biome apart from the deep forest that can currently be found in the deep. Burnt trees and burnt bushes spawn here, which respectively drop charcoal and sticks when broken.

Ingame ^
Mobs:
Floater:
Floaters are an ambient mob that spawn in the deep forest. They dont have any gimmicks and arent dangerous, only floating around passively and dying in 1 hit.

Ingame ^
Greywalker:
The greywalker is a large bipedal mob that can also only spawn in the deep forest. They are harmless, but have a very high amount of health. They can also be ridden.
