Dissonance corrupts the sounds of your world.
Music suddenly slows to a crawl. Cave noises stretch into distorted drones. Familiar sounds become deeper, longer, and unnaturally unsettling.
The effect is rare and unpredictable. Most of the time everything sounds normal.
Then a song you've heard a hundred times begins playing at the wrong speed.
And for a moment, the world doesn't feel right anymore.
You stop to listen.
You wish you hadn't.
