Description
The Endless Hordes is a mod that completely redesigns Minecraft to be a wave survival game. In it, you gather resources, build up your defenses, and face waves of orcs of increasing power until you are eventually defeated. How long can you survive?
Gather Resources:

- As you play, supply crates will be teleported into the arena with various resources inside.
- The more waves you survive, the better the loot in the supply crates.
- Loot includes resources such as iron, as well as building materials such as wool, clay, and dyes.
- Blocks such as furnaces are needed to refine some of the less common resources.
- Resources can be used for a wide variety of things from weapons, to construction, to healing items.
Build your Defenses:
- You have a limited amount of time between waves, and during that time you can mine, craft, and build as you wish.
- New recipes have been added to utilize the provided resources for defensive blocks, such as especially hard castle bricks.
- Be careful, orcs will break down your fortress to reach you.
- Armor has been completely redesigned and boosts your maximum health, while providing less damage reduction.
- In addition to defenses, you can prepare healing items and totems of revival to bring your friends back in the middle of a wave. Of course they will also be automatically revived at the end of each wave, if you can survive that long.
- You can also make Chance Talismans of various tiers to give all players one free revive per tier, but each tier can only be used once per horde.
Choose your Weapon:

- Ten different primary melee weapon types to choose from, ranging from katanas to halberds.
- Each melee weapon has its own attack speed, as well as different abilities, such as sweeping attacks, shield penetration, extra reach, or conditional damage bonuses.
- Bows and crossbows are also valid weapon choices.
- Later in the game, you can craft a steel worktable and an arcane workbench which allow you to improve your equipment even more.
Face the Endless Hordes:
- Waves of orcs keep coming, no matter how many waves you defeat.
- The more waves you manage to defeat, the more powerful the waves become, with more orcs and more powerful orc types.
- Six different difficulty levels to challenge players of all skill levels.
- Eleven different orc classes with different equipment and abilities.
- Occasionally an especially powerful boss orc will appear as well.
Additional Features:
- Each orc is randomly generated with a different visual appearance.
- Randomly generated arena and orc waves means a different experience each round.
- In-depth advancement tree to help with progression and provide players with goals.
- Fully multiplayer compatible with a kill tracker to see who is the MVP of each wave.
- Five different biomes to play through, plains, desert, snow, jungle, and mountain.
- Some orcs have different abilities in different biomes.
- Additional weapons and gadgets that have a variety of different uses.
- Hordeless gamerule to disable core features of the mod and make it more of a small enhancement for a regular world, for those that want it.
- Compatible with Catnip's Staffs.

Note, when hosting on a server, you may need to set the spawn protection property to 0 to allow non-operator players to interact with things in the center of the arena.
