Known as The Ethereal John, lurking and observing from the shadowed recesses of this realm. In the depths where darkness prevails and light is absent, The Ethereal John may materialize, defying the notion that only benevolence exists in heavenly domains. Even within the realms of ethereal bliss, monsters can be still found in heaven.

This mod has no connection to the Aethers lore, or the lore of the John Mod Reborns. This is separate and has no connection. It's just for fun!

-The Ethereal John:
The Ethereal John is known to manifest solely in the most darkest recesses of the Aether. These ethereal depths exist below a light level of 3, concealed within only in caves. The Ethereal John inflicts 8 points of damage upon its adversaries, boasting an impressive 25 hearts (50 health). A perilous encounter with this entity carries a 50 percent chance of afflicting the victim with blindness for 3 seconds upon each attack.

Other notes:
* When attacking the player, there is a 50% chance to inflict the player with blindness
* When the John is attacked when it's below half it's health (25 health), the John has a chance to go invisible and gives the player blindness for 10 seconds. However if attacked with the Ethereal Sword, the John will not do this.
* You can hear them from twice the distance as normal mobs. 32 Blocks.
* just like regular Johns, they will attack villagers
* When hurt, they will run faster
* Immune to fire, & fall damage
* have a 50% chance to drop a Immortality Gem
* Immune to fire fall damage
* Can walk up 4 blocks
* If pushed off into the void, it will respawn back to it's spawnpoint.

Spawning:

The John will not spawn if a john is in a radius of 50 blocks. And will only spawns in the Aether under overhangs and caves, in light level 2 or below.

-Ethereal Gem & Ethereal Sword:
Upon vanquishing the Ethereal John, there is a 50 percent chance of obtaining the coveted Ethereal Gem. The combination of two such gems, grants the creation of the illustrious Ethereal Sword. This remarkable blade has the "Unborn Tone" enchantment, which harmoniously resonates with the striking of each blow, emitting ethereal synth piano keys. However they synchronize with the rhythm of each blow when engaging the Ethereal John. Furthermore, the Ethereal Sword possesses the unique ability to afflict the Ethereal John with Weakness.
