Story:

SPOILERS AHEAD!

The story starts with David Golem, the namesake of the Snow Golem, Iron Golem etc.

Initially praised as a scientific genius, roughly a year before the player starts their world, the villagers of the world started to see him as a spiralling mad-man, however a group of around 150 villagers, followed his word and listened to his new obsession with mountains, in his time atop high mountains collecting snow and iron for his golems his obsession grew even more intensely, it became his only fixation, he then wanted to find and build a world where he could find peace, with only mountains, this is where he tried to build a portal out of materials from high atop mountains, snow and stone, until remembering where the power of nether portals came from, obsidian, so found a way to forge his own crying obsidian, with 4 ghast tears and 1 regular obsidian, he then built a key and a portal out of it, violently throwing his people away from the portal immediately after it was lit, David and his 150 or so followers collected and went in to the Everheights dimension where, after a raid in the village the portal was built, pillagers also raided the dimension they then killed all the remaining villagers, including David Golem, the pillagers too went extinct, its now up to you to venture through this elusive mountainous dimension.
