About

Description

Bring Back the Forgotten!

Ever wondered what Minecraft would look like if your favorite mob vote candidates had actually won? With Fotgotten Friends, you don’t have to wonder anymore! This mod adds a collection of iconic, fan-favorite mobs that never made it into the game — until now. Though, there are slight differences and original content that were not mentioned in the mob votes.

Needs "Kleiders Custom Renderer API" to run. Will crash in some cases without it.

Entities

Crab (Neutral)

  • Found in Mangrove Swamps
  • Drop Crab Arms

Iceologer (Hostile)

  • Found in snowy or cold mountain biomes and Iceologer Igloos
  • Drops an Ice Wand, ice, and emeralds

Wildfire (Boss)

  • Found in the Nether Wastes or by using a Nether Totem
  • Drops a Heat Gem

Great Hunger (Hostile until tamed)

  • Found in Lush Caves
  • Can be used to both enchant items by feeding it gold ingots/blocks and disenchant items by feeding it iron nuggets after taming it with iron ingots, gold ingots, golden food, or diamonds

Glare (Passive)

  • Found in Lush Caves
  • Moves to the darkest and closest block to it

Moobloom (Passive)

  • Found in Flower Forests
  • Leaves behind a trail of buttercups
  • Can be sheared into a normal cow and milked with a bucket or mushroom stew

Rascal (Passive)

  • Found in any place in the overworld below y-level 0
  • Runs away from the player after being interacted with.
  • Being found three times leaves the player with rewards

Termites (Neutral)

  • Found in savanna biomes
  • Search the area for plants and wood to grow their nest

Copper Golem (Passive)

  • Created by placing a lightning rod against a block of unoxidized, unwaxed copper
  • Presses copper buttons near it periodically
  • Slowly oxidizes until it turns into a statue, can be wazed to prevent this, or axed to unwax it

Items

Backpack

  • Dropped by beating a Rascal in hide and seek. Can hold up to 18 stacks of items

Nether Backpack

  • Created by smithing a Backpack with a netherite ingot. Can hold up to 36 stacks of items

End Backpack

  • Created by smithing a Nether Backpack with end stone bricks. Can hold up to 56 stacks of items

Buttercup

  • Flower found in Flower Forests and by killing or shearing Mooblooms

Crab Arm

  • Dropped by Crabs on death. Holding it increases the player's block and entity range

Fortified Flames

  • Crafted with lava buckets, blaze rods, and a Heat Gem. Converts damage the player takes into damage to the item. Heals slowly over time

Heat Gem

  • Dropped by the Wildfire

Ice Wand

  • Dropped by Iceologers or found in Iceologer Igloo treasure rooms. Uses ice blocks as ammo and spawns Iceologer ice chunks above entities hit

Inferno Helmet

  • Crafted with a netherite helmet, blaze rods, and a Heat Gem. Spawns a friendly Blaze when worn that will attack what you attack

Inferno Totem

  • Crafted with blaze powder, netherite scraps, and blaze rods. Interacting with it in the Nether spawns a Wildfire

Smoke Bomb

  • Makes the player truly invisible and gives them a speed boost. Dropped when beating a Rascal at hide and seek

Freezing Potions

  • Made with ice blocks

The Moon

  • Obtained when completing the "Steal the Moon" advancement if GetCelestialBodies gamerule is set to "true". Does a large amount of damage

The Sun

  • Obtained when completing the "Actually Reach for the Stars" advancement if GetCelestialBodies gamerule is set to "true". Can be thrown to cause large explosions

Advancements

The rest of the advancements are rather self-explanitory, but the following ones are ones with vague descriptions or are difficult to get without explanation.

Actually Reach for the Stars

Go to at or above the build limit, look upwards while the sun is in the middle of the sky, and interact with a Crab Arm

Commander In Chief

Be near entities tamed by you (30 wolves, 5 Great Hungers, and 15 cats), all at once

Iceologer's Revenge

Be near 500 glow squids upon them being crushed to death by ice chunks

Invasive Species

Bring a tamed Great Hunger near a pufferfish

Out of its Diet

Feed a Great Hunger a Crab Arm

Over the Weight Limit

Feed a Great Hunger four gold blocks at once

Steal the Moon

Go to at or above the build limit, look upwards while the moon is in the middle of the sky, and interact with a Crab Arm

Two-Timing

Enchant an item with an enchanting table while near a tamed Great Hunger

Who's the Iceologer Now?

Kill an Iceologer with an Ice Wand

Enchantments

Compacting (Ice Wand)

Increases the damage of ice chunks by .75 hearts per level

Elongate (Crab Arm)

Extending (Crab Arm)

Icing (Ice Wand)

Makes ice chunks freeze entities

Rapid-Fire (Inferno Helmet)

Increases the rate the blaze servant fires fireballs
