Keep your Minecraft community informed with automatic reminders, public announcements, and a dedicated admin chat command.

Features

  • Rotating server reminders every 30 minutes by default.

  • Configurable intervals from 1 to 1,440 minutes.

  • Custom reminder messages for rules, information, and support.

  • Configurable, clickable Discord invitation links.

  • Turquoise system messages with the prefix [The Lounge Chat System].

  • Operator announcements and public messages with an [ADMIN] label.

  • Normal player chat remains unchanged, including existing team tags and colors.

  • Automatic broadcasts pause on empty servers without creating a message backlog.

Commands

  • /announce <text> — Send a public announcement.

  • /adminchat <text> — Send a public message with an ADMIN label and your player name.

  • /loungechat info — View settings and help.

  • /loungechat intervall <minutes> — Set the reminder interval.

  • /loungechat discord <invite link> — Set your Discord invitation link.

  • /loungechat an — Enable automatic reminders.

  • /loungechat aus — Disable automatic reminders.

  • /loungechat jetzt — Send the next reminder immediately.

  • /loungechat reload — Reload the configuration.

If another mod uses the short commands, use /loungechat announce <text> or /loungechat admin <text> instead.

Commands require an operator with permission level 2 or higher, or the server console/RCON. The ADMIN label appears only when using the dedicated admin message command.

Configuration

The mod creates config/lounge-chat.json on first server startup. Customize your messages, interval, and Discord invitation, then run /loungechat reload.

Use {discord} in a reminder to insert your configured invitation link. Reminders containing this placeholder are skipped until a link is configured.

Commands and in-game feedback are currently in German.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Java 1.21.1

  • NeoForge 21.1.252 or newer within the 21.1 series

  • Java 21

Install on the server only. Players do not need this mod installed. No additional library mods are required.

Beta status

Compilation and 35 automated scheduling, validation, and configuration checks passed. Full testing in a running Minecraft world with the complete modpack is still pending.
