Description

Hello!

My name is Brookun and I designed this mod using MCreator.

My initial goal is to add a form of magical combat to Minecraft. The blaze shoot fireballs at us but we players cannot do anything similar to a zombie. And that is unfair. Minecraft has a combat in which you physically attack with a sword or axe, shoot an arrow with a bow or trident.

Some will say that magic in Minecraft exists and they are called enchantments and I agree with you but there is no magic staff or wand. Enchantments are added to that magic wand that give it the necessary abilities to perform magic. It is one more use for the enchantment table.

Speaking of giving uses to other things, do you know what other things have few uses? Copper, which despite the fact that many very useful blocks are added with 1.21, still does not have all the functions that many of us would like, and amethysts. And another thing: the emeralds that are used to trade with villagers and to customize armor.

Let's put these ingredients together to form our first magic wand!

You need to have Forge 47.1.0 (1.20.1) or higher installed.

WAND CREATION

Copper is used as a base, emerald is the powerful gem that channels magical power. And the amethyst fragments stabilize any impurities with their calm. The magic wand is capable of doing basic incantations.

To get something better, you must go to the depths of the Nether.

In the Nether there is a new mineral, a new gem, amber. Amber is a gem that must be chopped with an Iron Pickaxe or higher and gives 3 Nether Amber Gems. Blocks can be made from amber for more convenient storage...but you're not reading this for the block. Replace the emerald in the previous recipe with the amber and you will have an intermediate wand.

Now comes the time to introduce the last magic wand, the magician's wand. You are looking for your elytra, you have killed the Dragon and suddenly, you find some small deposits of a new mineral called End Sapphire. End Sapphire can be used to make sapphire blocks that can be used in pyramids suitable for the lighthouse magical. But again, you just want to go back to your old blacksmithing table and upgrade your intermediate wand to a magician wand.

ENCHANTMENTS

Wands have a ranged attack as a base attack and access different upgrades on the enchantment table as well as on anvils. As we improve our wand, we can have access to more enchantments

MAGIC WAND (basic)

  • Fireball: It has two levels:

Level 1: Shoots a small fireball.

Level 2: Shoots a larger fireball.

Cautions: Generates explosions and fire on impact

  • Thunder: Summons thunder at a safe distance from the player. I
  • Ice Shard: Summons a block of frosty ice that falls a safe distance from the player, if an entity is hit by the falling block or is in a column of frosty ice, they take freezing damage.
  • Unbreaking and Repair

MEDIUM WAND:

  • Healing: Summons a temporary area of particles, heals the player.

MAGICIAN'S WAND:

  • Teleport: Moves the player in the direction they are facing.
  • Vanish: Eliminate the block the player is looking at.

Why the progression system? The wizard begins his journey in the same way as a swordsman with his wooden or stone sword. The swordsman will upgrade his weaponry to iron as soon as he can and then to diamond. I have followed the same principle with the magic wand and the intermediate wand and in the same way that the diamond is upgraded to netherite, the magic wand can be converted into the wizard wand by going to the End dimension and getting sapphire.

Why doesn't the basic magic wand heal? While it is true that there is a Healing enchantment, I am interested in rewarding those wizards who go to the Nether for their second wand. Amber, the mineral chosen for the creation of the second wand, is attributed healing properties. I was hesitant to also make the Thunder incantation exclusive, due to the electrical properties of this resinous material, but I did not want to deprive initiated magicians of electrical magic just as they have the Fireball or the Ice Shard since for me, they are basic in a magic system
