⚠️DISCLAIMER: This is the first mod I've ever publicly released. Any and all feedback, advice, and critisism is welcome! Additionaly, this mod is still in development, so some features may not be fully polished yet, and changes should be expected!⚠️
The Music of the World is a mod that adds every song currently part of Minecraft's official soundtrack, as well as a few bonus tracks, in the form of in-game music discs. Each disc is obtainable in a different way, with some being dropped by mobs when killed by certain circumstances, some being found in loot tables, and some requiring specific tasks to be performed in order to be obtained.
Currently, all of the following albums and tracks are available:

In addition to music discs, this mod adds two items that are required for some discs to be obtained:
- Blank Discs are basic items needed in order to obtain several music discs. They are crafted using the following recipe:

Note: Any color of wool, concrete, terracotta, glazed terracotta, stained glass, or stained glass pane can be used in the recipe.
- Musical Upgraders can be combined with certain music discs in an anvil to create new discs. They are crafted using the following recipe:

Volume Alpha:
- Key: Can be found in stronghold corridors and most village houses with chests.
- Door: Can be found rarely in most village houses with chests.
- Subwoofer Lullaby: Can be found in mineshafts and desert pyramids.
- Death: Dropped by a chicken when killed by a pillager; can be crafted with the following recipe:

- Living Mice: Can be found in mineshafts.
- Moog City: Can be dropped by a zombie inflicted with strength when killed by a skeleton.
- Haggstrom: Can be found in most village houses with chests, monster rooms, woodland mansions, and igloos; can be crafted with the following recipe (note that any small flower can be used):

- Minecraft: Can be found in most village houses with chests and woodland mansions; can be crafted using the following recipe:

- Oxygène: Can be found in monster rooms and igloos.
- Équinoxe: Can be obtained by killing a witch during the sunset while holding a blank disc in the off-hand.
- Mice on Venus: Can be found in most village houses with chests, woodland mansions, desert pyramids, and stronghold corridors.
- Dry Hands: Can be found in most village houses with chests.
- Wet Hands: Can be found in most village houses with chests.
- Clark: Can be found in monster rooms; can be crafted with the following recipe (note that any stone type can be used):

- Chris: Dropped by a jeb_ sheep when killed by a creeper.
- Excuse: Dropped by a wither skeleton when killed by a skeleton while standing in lava in the nether.
- Sweden: Can be found in most village houses with chests, monster rooms, and mineshafts; can be crafted with the following recipe:

- Cat: Can be obtained by taming a cat while a blank disc is in the inventory; is the only vanilla music disc that has a new method for obtaining.
- Dog: Can be obtained by taming a wolf while a blank disc is in the inventory; can be found rarely in woodland mansions; can be dropped by a creeper when killed by a skeleton; created by combining a Cat disc with a musical upgrader in an anvil.
- Danny: Can be found in monster rooms and mineshafts.
- Beginning: Can be dropped by a zombie inflicted with strength when killed by a skeleton.
- Droopy likes ricochet: Can be found rarely in monster rooms and stronghold corridors.
- Droopy likes your face: Can be found rarely in monster rooms and stronghold corridors.
Volume Beta:
- Ki: Created by combining a Key disc with a musical upgrader in an anvil.
- Alpha: Can be obtained when killing the ender dragon for the first time while a blank disc is in the inventory.
- Dead Voxel: Can be dropped by a piglin when killed by a blaze.
- Blind Spots: Can be found in most village houses with chests; dropped by a spider when killed by a creeper inflicted with invisibility.
- Flake: Dropped by a snow golem when killed by a stray.
- Moog City 2: Can be dropped by a zombie inflicted with strength when killed by a skeleton.
- Concrete Halls: Can be found in nether fortresses.
- Biome Fest: Dropped by a spider when killed by a creeper inflicted with speed.
- Mutation: Can be dropped by a slime when killed by a skeleton; created by combining a Minecraft disc with a musical upgrader in an anvil.
- Haunt Muskie: Can be found rarely in stronghold corridors; dropped by a spider when killed by a creeper inflicted with jump boost.
- Warmth: Can be found rarely in nether fortresses.
- Floating Trees: Can be dropped by a slime when killed by a skeleton.
- Aria Math: Can be found in monster rooms; dropped by a spider when killed by a creeper inflicted with night vision.
- Kyoto: Dropped by a polar bear when killed while standing in powder snow.
- Ballad of the Cats: Can be dropped by a piglin when killed by a blaze.
- Taswell: Dropped by a spider when killed by a creeper inflicted with strength.
- Beginning 2: Can be dropped by a zombie inflicted with strength when killed by a skeleton.
- Dreiton: Dropped by a spider when killed by a creeper inflicted with regeneration.
- The End: Can be found in end cities.
- Eleven: Created by combining an 11 disc with a musical upgrader in an anvil.
- Intro: Can be found rarely in end cities.
Update Aquatic:
- Shuniji: Can be found in ocean ruins; can be dropped by a drowned when killed by a skeleton.
- Dragon Fish: Can be found in ocean ruins; can be dropped by a drowned when killed by a skeleton.
- Axolotl: Can be dropped by a drowned when killed by a skeleton; can be obtained by right-clicking an axolotl with a blank disc.
The Nether Update:
- Chrysopoeia: Dropped by a zombified piglin when killed by a skeleton while in a crimson forest biome.
- Rubedo: Dropped by a zombified piglin when killed by a skeleton while in a nether wastes biome.
- So Below: Dropped by a zombified piglin when killed by a skeleton while in either a soul sand valley biome or a basalt deltas biome.
Caves & Cliffs:
- Stand Tall: Can be dropped by a goat when killed by a skeleton.
- Left to Bloom: Can be found in most village houses with chests; can be obtained from wandering traders; can be crafted with the following recipe:

- Ancestry: Can be found rarely in ancient cities; can be obtained by right-clicking a sculk catalyst with a blank disc.
- Wending: Can be found in monster rooms, pillager outposts, and woodland mansions.
- Infinite Amethyst: Can be found in stronghold corridors; can be obtained from wandering traders; can be crafted with the following recipe:

- One More Day: Can be found in mineshafts and pillager outposts.
- Floating Dream: Can be found in woodland mansions.
- Comforting Memories: Can be found in pillager outposts and jungle pyramids.
- An Ordinary Day: Can be dropped by a goat when killed by a skeleton.
The Wild Update:
- Firebugs: Can be crafted with the following recipe:

- Aerie: Can be obtained from wandering traders; can be dropped by a goat when killed by a skeleton.
- Labyrinthine: Can be found in woodland mansions.
Trails & Tales:
- Echo in the Wind: Can be found in desert pyramids; can be obtained from wandering traders; can be dropped by a sniffer when killed by a skeleton.
- A Familiar Room: Can be found in jungle pyramids; can bo obtained from wandering traders; can be dropped by a sniffer when killed by a skeleton.
- Bromeliad: Can be found in pillager outposts, desert pyramids, and jungle pyramids; can be dropped by a sniffer when killed by a skeleton.
- Crescent Dunes: Can be found in desert pyramids; can be obtained from wandering traders.
Tricky Trials:
- Featherfall: Can be found in woodland mansions and trial chamber intersection barrels; can be dropped by a copper golem when killed by a skeleton.
- Watcher: Can be found in trial chamber intersection barrels; can be dropped by a copper golem when killed by a skeleton.
- Puzzlebox: Can be found in pillager outposts and trial chamber intersection chests; can be dropped by a copper golem when killed by a skeleton.
- komorebi: Can be found in woodland mansions and trial chamber intersection chests; can be dropped by a copper golem when killed by a skeleton.
- pokopoko: Can be dropped by a goat when killed by a skeleton; can be crafted with the following recipe:

- yakusoku: Can be found in stronghold corridors and trial chamber intersection chests; can be dropped by a copper golem when killed by a skeleton.
- Deeper: Can be crafted with the following recipe:

- Eld Unknown: Can appear rarely in trial chamber pots; can be dropped by goats and copper golems when killed by a skeleton.
- Endless: Can appear in stronghold corridors and trial chamber intersection barrels.
Chase the Skies:
- Lilypad: Can be found in pillager outposts and woodland mansions.
- Below and Above: Can be found in jungle pyramids.
- O's Piano: Can be found in pillager outposts and woodland mansions.
- Broken Clocks: Can be found in woodland mansions and stronghold corridors.
- Fireflies: Can be found in desert pyramids; can be crafted with the following recipe:

Chaos Cubed:
- All discs from this album can be dropped by a slime when it is killed by a falling stalactite, except for Bounce, which is dropped by a magma cube dying in said way instead.
Special Discs:
- C418 - Boss: Can be obtained by right-clicking an end crystal with a blank disc.
- Markus Persson - Magnetic Circuit (calm4): Has eight unique disc fragments, each of which can appear very rarely in a different structure (fragment #1 in igloos, #2 in jungle pyramids, #3 in ancient cities, #4 in woodland mansions, #5 in shipwreck treasure chests, #6 in stronghold corridors, #7 in nether fortresses, and #8 in end cities). When each fragment is found, they must be used in numerical order in the following crafting recipe with an enchanted golden apple:

- Caution & Crisis - Sweden: Dropped by a sheep when killed by a creeper in the nether.
- Caution & Crisis - Cat: Dropped by an ocelot when killed in the end.
- Jack Black - Steve's Lava Chicken: Can be obtained while eating cooked chicken while in lava, inflicted with fire resistance, and while a blank disc is in the inventory.
- Protostar - Aria Math: Created by combining an Aria Math disc with a musical upgrader in an anvil.
- Element Animation - Game of Thrones Song: When a zombie villager is killed by an iron golem, it will dropped a "primed emerald." When right-clicking a villager with a primed emerald while inflicted with hero of the village, the primed emerald will be consumed, and if the player kills any kind of illager less than eight minutes after doing this, the disc will be dropped.
- MineCraft Awesome Parodys - MINE DIAMONDS: Can be obtained by breaking diamond ore using a blank disc less than eight minutes after using a primed emerald on a villager.
- Birds Screaming: Can be found in most village houses with chests.
- Cave Chimes: Can be found in mineshafts.
- Ocean: Can be found in buried treasure and shipwreck treasure chests.
Additionally, a few extra things to note are:
- This mod adds 36 new advancements.
- All music discs have a redstone output strength of 13, aside from MINE DIAMONDS, which has a strength of 15.
- All nether music discs are immune to lava.
- This mod adds one new painting, which serves as a hint towards how to obtain a certain item.
