About
Description
This mod adds content from the Disney TV show The Owl House.
Currently as of 1.0, it contains:
-Light Glyph
-Fire Glyph
-Ice Glyph
-Plant Glyph
Each of these glyphs can be discovered in the world naturally, and are hinted at in the advancements, but if you are stuck or confused on one:
Fire Glyph: Right click a piece of paper on a Ghast, Blaze, or Fireball
Ice Glyph: Right click a piece of paper during snowfall in a snowy biome
Plant Glyph: Right click a piece of paper on a flower (5% success rate, 95% of the time will break the flower.)
After discovering a glyph, if you craft a Notepad, you can place paper into the first slot and select the glyph to be drawn. Does not work if you have not discovered the glyph yet.
Each of these glyphs also have 3 different ways to use them, being a right click, left click, and shift right click on each. I encourage you to discover these, but just in case, once again here are the actions:
Light Glyph:
Right click: Gives the player a light orb block. This block is a small floating cube, and when right clicked can be released. The resulting mob will unfortunately not glow (thank you, Mojang.)
Left Click: Shoots a projectile that inflicts Blindness and Glowing for 10 seconds
Shift Right Click: Gives the player Night Vision for 10 seconds. Best paired with a mod that removes the flash, as 10 seconds is unfortunately around when it starts flashing.
Fire Glyph:
R: Lights the current block on fire
L: Shoots a fireball
S+R: Gives the player Fire Resistence for 10 seconds
Ice Glyph:
R: Erects a pillar of ice, 3 blocks tall. It goes one layer at a time, and breaks quick, but can be used as a quick platform or ""ladder"".
L: Shoots a block of ice that when hitting an entity, will freeze them in place for a few seconds. The projectile's arc also spawns many icicles which will then fall down, and if an entity gets caught in it, will begin to take rapid damage and is frozen in place. Disclaimer, this may get quite laggy.
S+R: Spawns a large semicircle of ice around the player. It lasts slightly longer than it takes to eat a normal piece of food, and therefore can be used as a quick protection method in PVP to heal up after running away.
Plant Glyph:
R: Bone meals the current block
L: Places Magic Grass on the current block. When stepped on, it will poke up and rapidly damage whatever is on it, and breaks. If broken, it will do 5 damage.
S+R: Gives the player Regeneration for a few seconds.
This mod is heavily (and quite obviously) inspired (by the Owl House Glyphs mod
