Description

PokeIsles Cash Villagers

PokeIsles Cash Villagers fully integrates vanilla villager trading with the CobbleDollars economy.

Interacting with a villager opens a dedicated cash shop containing converted versions of their existing trades. Players can purchase goods directly with CobbleDollars or sell the items requested by villagers in exchange for cash—no emerald handling required.

Features

  • Converts normal villager trades into a clean, cash-only shop interface.
  • Allows players to buy villager goods directly with CobbleDollars.
  • Converts trades where villagers buy items into CobbleDollar payouts.
  • Retains each trade’s existing stock and usage limits.
  • Automatically reads item values from the CobbleDollars bank.json.
  • Supports configurable price overrides and fallback values.
  • Converts non-emerald barter requirements into cash prices.
  • Displays the player’s current balance directly inside the shop.
  • Supports multiple pages for villagers with large trade inventories.

Emerald Merchants

Wandering traders are upgraded into configurable Emerald Merchants with rotating common and rare offers.

Their potential stock includes valuable vanilla items, Cobblemon supplies and supported CobbleCuisine shakes. Items from optional mods are skipped safely when they are not installed.

Merchant settings can be customized, including:

  • Common and rare trade pools
  • Number of offers selected
  • Item quantities and prices
  • Maximum uses
  • Merchant name
  • Spawn frequency
  • Spawn distance
  • Maximum active merchants
  • Despawn time

Configuration

The configuration file is generated at:

config/pokeisles-cash-villagers.json

Most settings can be reloaded without restarting the server using:

/cashvillagers reload

Administrators can also manually summon an Emerald Merchant using:

/cashvillagers summonmerchant

Both commands require permission level 2.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.21.1
  • Fabric Loader 0.16.0 or newer
  • Fabric API
  • Java 21
  • CobbleDollars 2.0.0 or newer

This mod is declared incompatible with cobbledollars_villagers_overhaul_rca and should not be installed alongside it.
