Title

The Possessive Mask
adds a terrifying new monster. Its history comes from the SCP universe, where it is referred to as SCP-035, also known as The Possessive Mask.

This cursed mask can naturally be found lying on the ground or worn by aggressive SCP-035 carriers. If you defeat one of these carriers, the mask will drop, but beware, it will start drawing you closer to it. Once you get too close, the mask will automatically latch onto your head, and there is no way to remove it. Once on, you become possessed, under the mask's control, and you will begin to lose control. You can’t take it off, and it will slowly leading you to death

● Important FaQ

[OLD] What is my console spaming?

Most mobs use special spawning conditions, which means that these mobs can only appear under certain conditions. If the spawning conditions work, this spam is created in the console.

► [OLD] Why can't I summon a mob?

Spawning Conditions determine which conditions must be met in order to spawn certain mobs. Some mobs only spawn above Y level 60. Some below. Most mobs can only spawn in the overworld than in other dimensions.

► Why are features missing in different versions?

It is recommended to play the newest versions of higher minecraft versions.

Not all features of MCreator available or the same in different versions.
For example: Version 1.19.2 doesn't have the feature of shield, better structure generation or custom villagers, but Version 1.20.1 does have them.

► Where does SCP-035 spawn?

SCP-035 can spawn as a host or just as the mask itself, anywhere in the overworld like a normal monster. However, there can only be one instance of SCP-035.

► How can I put the mask down?

You can't put the possessive mask down. However if you set the gamerule "possessiveMaskSafemode" to true, you can put it down, and it won't be dropped as an entity when a player dies while wearing it.

SCP-035, The Possessive Mask

SCP-035 is a possessive mask that draws nearby players toward it. If touched, the mask forcibly attaches to the player’s head, becoming impossible to remove. While wearing SCP-035, the player’s vision is restricted, though they receive a speed effect. However, this power comes at a cost. SCP-035 slowly takes control, inflicting damage until the player eventually dies. Upon death, the mask drops to the ground, waiting for its next host.

SCP-035 Hosts

SCP-035 Hosts are likely the first encounter players will have with the mask. These mobs, already wearing SCP-035, are aggressive, fast, and dangerous. Illagers, Villagers, and Zombies are particularly susceptible, and if any normal variant of these mobs gets too close to the mask, they are pulled in and possessed, becoming a new host. Killing a host will cause SCP-035 to drop, ready to claim another victim.

SCP-035 Tentacles

When SCP-035 takes damage, it can summon tentacles to defend itself. These tentacles act as a protective barrier, making the mask harder to destroy.
