- The Radioactive Terror
WARNING: This mod has extremely loud features and may cause ear pain. This mod also contains jumpscares. Viewer discretion is advised
Thanks to Toho for Godzilla, the primary inspiration for this mod.
Rough survival guide:
The Radioactive terror will spawn once the player obtains a radioactive waste block, these blocks spawn in radioactive waste pillars, which are fairly common in plains biomes, jungle biomes, and savannas.
The creature's primary gimmick is its radioactivity, being so radioactive most mobs simply take damage and die being within the vicinity of the entity (as far as 21 blocks from the main entity). This encourages the player to bring methods to heal if they intend on confronting the entity and also continue moving if the entity decides to move areas.
If you stay underground for far too long before the creature has been defeated, you get the anxiety effect, which blinds you and deals damage to you over time.
Post-mutation... it is advised to stay as far from the terror as possible, and hide if it's nearby. If it spots you, hide, as quickly as possible.
Rough description of The Radioactive Terror:
The Radioactive Terror stands at approximately 3 blocks tall, although can get into spaces as little as 2 blocks, and is extremely fast. It's most dangerous weapon is it's heat ray, an aimable projectile breath that can break through blocks, and aids in its destructive capabilities. The creature boasts immense regeneration. It isn't extremely strong in this state, and this is the state in which it is actually a manageable issue.
How to actually beat (for post-mutation)
Post mutation, it is advised to NEVER confront the radioactive terror directly until you have adequate tools. Farming radioactive waste dropped by it's heat ray being used, you can craft special items, including: The Radioactive Bomb, A Hazmat Mask (when held, lessens damage caused by radiation, albeit makes you slower and gives you darkness), and The Radioactive Annihilator, the final item of the mod that when used on the radioactive terror kills it.
The Radioactive Terror post-mutation is gargantuan, over 10 blocks tall, and extremely powerful, it's atomic breath becoming far more powerful as well. At this stage, direct confrontation is near impossible unless you have the aforementioned tools.
If you fail to kill it in time with the radioactive annihilator... it'll mutate into an even more lethal form- at this point, there is no hope
Additional note for horror mod reviewers:
You can use this mod in modpacks if you please! No permission needed!
You are free to use this mod in ANY minecraft videos, no permission is needed so long as you credit the source somewhere (or atleast name-drop the mod)
Use insanity shaders and sound physics remastered mod for best experience!
This mod ONLY works in procedurally generated worlds! Unlike other dweller mods, the required/necessary structures for the mod to function will not spawn in pre-existing worlds.
It is recommended to use this mod with just enough items, or other recipe-showing mods.
