Description

Do You Crave the Power of Sin? Welcome to The Seven of Apexes.

The Seven of Apexes is a mod that introduces mythical artifacts, allowing you to transcend the limits of a mere mortal. Based on themes like the Seven Deadly Sins, these items will guide you to the pinnacle of the world.

But remember, great power always comes at a great price… and some powers are not meant to be controlled at all.

◆ How to Use: The Altar of Your Inventory

All artifacts added by this mod are governed by one, extremely simple rule.

Simply place an artifact in the top row of your main inventory (the one right above your hotbar) to activate its power. It won't work in your hotbar or off-hand; only these nine sacred slots are the altar that will decide your fate.

But beware. Some artifacts do not obey this rule. Their curse will bind you, no matter where they hide in your inventory…

◆ Key Features

Legendary Artifacts: The Seven Sins & Two Seals

Obtainable only through immense effort or incredible luck, these are the ultimate artifacts. They grant you power great enough to bend the very laws of the game, with no drawbacks.

  • Pride: Copies and amplifies the effects of your other active artifacts, creating devastating synergies.
  • Wrath: Return any damage you take back to your attacker as a bolt of divine lightning, becoming an avatar of vengeance.
  • Gluttony: Devour the very blocks of the earth to permanently increase your own vitality with an unquenchable hunger.
  • …and more, with 9 legendary items in total, including the twin Sacred Seals of Sun and Moon.

Risk vs. Reward: Epic-Tier & Lower Artifacts

While not as divine as the Legendaries, Epic-tier items possess effects powerful enough to turn the tide of any battle. However, they always come with a potent demerit.

  • Berserker's Drag: Doubles your attack power, but your body becomes as fragile as glass.
  • The Scarred Grail: Nullifies all incoming damage, but one day, all that negated pain will come back to haunt you.
  • Mantle of the Void: Grants you true invisibility, but at the cost of your hunger, and perhaps, the mantle itself.

As the rarity decreases to Rare and Uncommon, the effects become milder, but the drawbacks disappear. Mix and match to find the perfect balance of risk and reward for your playstyle!

Forbidden Rarity: The Price of Power

Once you get your hands on it, you're never allowed to let go.

There are powers that lie beyond the realm of risk and reward—curses that offer no benefit, only despair. These are the Forbidden artifacts.

  • They cannot be discarded. They will follow you even after death. They do not appear in any pack. Their origin is a mystery you may not want to solve.
  • Pact of Decay: Your body begins to rot from within, permanently scarring your vitality or fueling an endless hunger.
  • Whispers of the Void: Stand still for but a moment, and the silence will beckon you towards a swift end.
  • Unstoppable Impulse: A 60-second countdown to your own destruction begins. The only way to delay the inevitable is through relentless slaughter.

How to Obtain: The Packs of Fate & The Box of Sins

These artifacts cannot be crafted. Your journey begins by crafting Random Packs.

Random Packs have a chance to contain a Rare Pack or an Epic Pack. From the Epic Packs, a sliver of a chance exists to find the coveted Legendary Pack, guaranteeing an artifact of legend!

But for those who walk a darker path, there is another way. Pandora's Box. A costly artifact that presents a terrible gamble: it will grant you a powerful Epic or Legendary item, or inflict upon you a Forbidden curse from which you can never escape. Or can you…?

The Altar of Banishment: A Glimmer of Hope

Sacrifice and destroy evil!

For those shackled by numerous curses, there is one final, costly path to salvation. The Altar of Banishment. By sacrificing a great treasure upon this altar, you may banish one random Forbidden artifact from your soul, forever. But be warned: the Altar, once placed, can never be moved again.

Now, embody the power of the sins and reign supreme over the world! But be careful not to be consumed by it…
