The Shadow Stalker is a custom Minecraft mod designed to inject a new layer of danger, tension, and tactical combat into your gameplay. This isn’t just another mob—it’s a predator that hunts you, forces you to adapt, and makes every encounter feel personal.

🧠 Mob AI & Mechanics

👁️ Tracking Behavior

• Spawns 32–48 blocks away from players—close enough to sense, far enough to feel stalked.
• Only one can exist per player in a region, making each encounter unique and intense.
• Aggressively tracks players with a 40-block follow range.

⚔️ Combat Abilities

• Blinding Melee Strikes: Each hit inflicts Blindness III, plunging players into chaotic, disorienting fights.
• Teleport Ambush: Detects from afar and uses short-range teleportation to close the gap (with a 12-second cooldown).
• Anti-Ranged Defense: High resistance to projectiles like arrows. You'll need to face it up close—on its terms.

🩸 Evasion & Regeneration Phase

• When nearly defeated, it enters a unique "Evasion Phase":
  • Turns invisible, leaving behind only dark smoke trails.
  • Attempts to flee. If struck even once, it is immediately slain.
  • But beware—if it escapes? It fully regenerates and comes back, more relentless than ever.

🧍 AFK Detection & Stalking Behavior

• If a player is active (mining or attacking) but not moving for an extended period (e.g., standing still for 30+ seconds), the Shadow Stalker may spawn closer than usual—as close as 12–16 blocks.
• This simulates the feeling of a predator closing in on unaware prey.
• It is especially dangerous in mines, forests, or confined spaces where mobility is limited.
• This mechanic punishes static behavior and encourages players to stay alert and mobile, creating a constant sense of tension—even when seemingly safe.

Stand still too long… and it will find you.

🎧 Audio & Visual Identity

• Emits eerie, ambient sounds to build atmosphere.
• Designed with a dark, shadowy body, crimson glowing eyes, and Enderman-like posture, evoking fear and fascination.

🎁 Loot Table

• Drops rare, thematic items upon defeat (e.g., Diamonds, Fermented Spider Eye) to make the hunt worth your effort.
