The Shroud

A mod inspired by The Shroud and psionic ascension from the game Stellaris. Use a rare resource called Zro to explore a dimension of psionic energy and nightmares, gain mysterious abilities, and learn to navigate the veil between worlds.

The first step in your journey will be to acquire Zro Dust, which can be found by mining Zro Ore. Next, players will need to use Zro to craft Psi-Alloy ingots with Zro, Copper, and Gold. Next, players will craft a Shroudpiercer which they can use to activate a portal made of Psionic Deepslate Bricks. In order to traverse the portal and enter the shroud, players must first consume Zro and gain the Shroud Awareness potion effect. Once within the shroud, players can explore and collect two new resources, Shroud Crystal Shards and Nightmare Eyes. With these players can craft a variety of equipment, most importantly the Shroud Astrolabe and the Psionic Oculus. The Shroud Astrolabe allows players to travel to any coordinates in any dimension so long as they are within a Shroud Wound. The Psionic Oculus allows players to gain and use psionic abilities, active only when the player has Shroud Awareness, found by interacting with structures scattered around the shroud.
