The Twelve Eyes

In vanilla Minecraft, reaching the End means crafting a stack of Eyes of Ender from pearls and blaze powder. The Twelve Eyes changes that, every stronghold portal now has twelve unique frames, and each one only accepts its own special eye. To open the portal, you'll have to earn all twelve, by fighting bosses, exploring the world's toughest structures, defending villages and crafting from every corner of the game

Twelve Unique Eyes

Each eye has its own look, name and origin.

Earned through challenges
- Wither Eye: defeat the Wither

- Ocean Eye: slay an Elder Guardian

Warden Eye: kill the Warden in the Deep Dark

- Ghast Eye: kill a Ghast with its own reflected fireball

- Trial Eye: a rare reward from Ominous Vaults in Trial Chambers

- Raid Eye: win a raid and earn Hero of the Village

Crafted from the world around you:
- Food Eye, Nature Eye, Gem Eye, Nether Eye, Sculk Eye and Sky Eye, each built around an Ender Pearl with themed ingredients

New End Portal

Strongholds now generate with twelve custom portal frames, one for each eye, all empty. Every frame has a socket in its eye's colours and only accepts the matching eye. Collect them all to open the way to the End.

The regular Eye of Ender still exists, but only to guide you to the stronghold. It can't be placed in the frames.

Tougher Ender Dragon

- More health: 300 instead of 200
- Enraged second phase: at half health, the dragon roars, flies faster and brings back some of its End Crystals
- Rewards: everyone who takes part in the fight receives Phantom Membranes tbd later a better reward

Armored Elytra

Combine an Elytra with any chestplate at a Smithing Table (using a Phantom Membrane as the template) to get an Armored Elytra: full flight and the chestplate's protection.
