Description
Screenshots are from the classic version and still need to be updated
This mod originally started to just add better uses for gold but has since expanded into a variety of armors, weapons, blocks, a machine and a mob.
Tools & Armor
Dozens of full sets, each with their own stats, recipes, and quirks:
- Reinforced vanilla: Obsidian, Jagged Obsidian, Reinforced Gold, Emerald, Jagged Emerald, Lapis Lazuli, Hardened Redstone, and OP.
- Crystal & element sets: Rough variants (Rough Amethyst, Snow, Rough Quartz, Rough Prismarine, Ice) plus Polished variants with armor (Calcified
Amethyst, Polished Quartz, Polished Prismarine), each with set bonuses — Polished Prismarine grants underwater haste, water breathing, slow
falling, and Dolphin's Grace; Snow and Ice melt over time and douse fire; Ice armor leaves a trail of water when it shatters.
- Coal & Hardened Coal: catches fire while you're burning, drains durability over time, can be used as fuel, and is extinguished by water — drop
a burning tool into water to save it.
- Spectral (Ectoplasm) & Spectral-Infused: the only weapons that can damage Ghosts. Wear a full set (any mix of native Spectral and infused
pieces) to become invisible to Ghosts. Full Spectral sets can also phase through walls.
- Cake set: edible armor and tools with sweet-themed set bonuses.
- Flint & Flint-Iron: sneak + right-click to place fire, FNI boots ignite flammable floors as you walk.
- Hardened Glowstone: high-tier set with emissive glow.
- Stone variant pickaxes & tools: a full toolset for every vanilla stone — Andesite, Basalt, Blackstone, Calcite, Deepslate, Diorite, End Stone,
Granite, Netherrack, Sandstone, Smooth Basalt, Terracotta, and Tuff.
Blocks, Mobs & Mechanics
- Spectral Infuser: a furnace-like block with its own GUI. Feed it any sword or axe plus ectoplasm to forge a Spectral-Infused weapon that
retains its original stats.
- Ghost: a flying, peaceful mob that spawns rarely across most biomes. Immune to ordinary damage, breedable with Ectoplasm, and capable of
producing baby Ghosts with their own AI (they hide behind adults and flee threats). Originally meant as an easter egg and is now a full feature.
- Explosives: throwable Grenades and instant-detonation Dynamite.
- New ore: Reinforced Gold, with both stone and deepslate variants.
- New ingredients: Ectoplasm, Refined Ectoplasm, Coal Dust, Hardened Coal, Calcified Amethyst, Glacial Shard, Polished Quartz, Polished
Prismarine, Hardened Glowstone, and more.
- ~55 custom advancements tracking your progression through every material set.
- Full config file: toggle OP effects, Ghost spawning and rate, ectoplasm avoidance, coal burning mechanics, and more.
This description is currently for the 2.2.X versions of the mod, 1.7.10/classic version is much smaller in scope.
