TheBear’s Cyclops

Put on the visor and bring Cyclops’s optic power into Minecraft. Fire quick blasts, maintain a continuous beam, and unleash a powerful Mega Blast with a superhero moveset built around aim, timing, and control.

TheBear’s Cyclops combines destructive abilities with a dedicated costume, shared Heroes HUD, and character-specific progression through TheBear Heroes Core. Start with your base powers available, then develop a build that changes how you use them.

Choose Your Shot

Different situations call for different attacks.

Small Blast gives you a quick optic attack for shorter engagements. Use it to respond to nearby threats and place deliberate shots without committing to a sustained beam.

Continuous Blast lets you maintain pressure along your aim. Track targets, control your firing direction, and decide when to keep attacking or release the beam.

Mega Blast delivers Cyclops’s larger, more demanding attack. Its preparation and cooldown make positioning and timing important, especially when facing a dangerous group or committing to a major strike.

Eye Control adds another part of Cyclops’s identity to the moveset. Manage whether his eyes are open or closed, with the visor and related augments shaping how you handle his optic power.

Shape Your Fighting Style

Cyclops uses TheBear Heroes Core’s independent Character Mastery system. All base abilities are available from the start; leveling introduces new ways to specialize them.

Choose from 13 Cyclops-specific augments and equip up to three at once. Build around quick shots, sustained pressure, Mega Blast behavior, or eye control.

Augment options include stronger knockback for Small Blast, an additional piercing hit, faster ricochets, a narrower beam specialization, and broader sweeping attacks. Mega Blast specializations introduce options for preparation, defensive space control, and recoil-based movement.

These choices come with limitations and tradeoffs. A build suited to keeping enemies away may play differently from one focused on sustained attacks or carefully aimed shots. Limited slots mean choosing the effects that work together for your approach.

At Mastery level 20, Capstone choices offer further specialization.

Progress Through Meaningful Play

Mastery is separate from vanilla experience.

Earn progression through eligible combat contributions, advancements, raids, boss fights, exploration, and meaningful ability events. Repeated farming earns reduced rewards, encouraging you to take your powers into different encounters.

Cyclops’s progress is saved independently from other heroes. Death, returning to human form, or switching characters does not erase his Mastery.

Open the shared Heroes menu to inspect your level, read augment effects and requirements, and manage your equipped build.

Wear the Cyclops Suit

Complete the character with the mod’s dark navy costume, gold harness details, and distinctive red-lensed visor.

The costume includes raised armor details and a centered chest fitting, giving Cyclops a recognizable appearance while preserving Minecraft’s blocky style. Equip the pieces on your own character and bring your player skin into the superhero look.

Part of TheBear’s Heroes

TheBear’s Cyclops integrates with TheBear Heroes Core for a consistent experience across supported hero mods.

Use the shared HUD, common control bindings, Heroes menu, and unified Creative tab under TheBear’s Heroes. Play Cyclops on his own or install TheBear’s Jean Grey alongside him for another character with separate powers, Mastery, and augment choices.

Commands are grouped under /thebear, with administrative actions restricted by permissions.
