A slow-burn horror mod for Minecraft Java 26.2 — Fabric & NeoForge.

You built a home. You lit your torches. You thought you were alone.

TheHollowing doesn't throw monsters at you on day one. A hidden fear called Dread grows while you play — in the dark, deep underground, alone at night — and the world slowly starts to go wrong. Footsteps that stop when you turn. A door left open in your own base. Torches that burn out on their own. A stranger typing in chat.

The longer you survive, the worse it gets. Until one night, something stops watching… and starts hunting.

You can't just fight your way out. You'll need bells, salt, candles and light — and you'll need to know when not to look.

  • A chat that answers back, and journals left by the last survivors

  • Normal or Intense mode, plus settings for jumpscares and more
