Description

This is a modified fork of //modrinth.com/mod/hitfloat" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">https://modrinth.com/mod/hitfloat" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">HitFloat by perusi, with only a very small bugfix to allow the floating damage numbers to appear on killing blows. I used HitFloat under the MIT license, since perusi was so kind as to make it available. :) Here is an excellent description of the mod from persui's own page:

  • Floating damage numbers above hit entities
  • Smooth rise animation and automatic cleanup
  • Critical hit highlight text and particle burst
  • Configurable thresholds, lifetime, speed, and particle intensity
  • Built-in safety cap for active floating texts
