Overview

Thoughtful Recipes is a datapack that aims to add recipes that fit into the vanilla game, and adding consistency, fixes, and more to the vanilla ones, while not giving the player any unfair advantage or making things that are meant to be uncraftable obtainable through crafting.
List of changes:
You can copy pottery sherd with bricks and other items, similarly to trims.

You can craft minecarts with hoppers, chests, furnaces, TNTs and boats with chests directly in one single recipe or use 2 logs instead of a chest in the hopper recipe.
Some recipes now have "Bulk" versions. For example, you can craft 32 sticks with two logs, you can smelt raw ore blocks directly into blocks, and more.

Woodcutting: all woods can be turned into slabs, stairs and trapdoors with a stonecutter.
4 logs now make 4 Woods, 6 Planks now craft 12 trapdoors, not 2. Iron and copper trapdoor are also crafted the same way. but only give 4.

Diorite, calcite and tuff recipes have been added or tweaked. Dripstone blocks can be broke down into pointed dripstone in a stonecutter.
You can use a crafting table to turn grass blocks into dirt, deepslate into cobbled deepslate, stone into cobblestone, and more. You can now "unpack" various blocks, like wool, clay, bricks, quartz blocks and blue or packed ice.

Flowers now give you the correct dye color and dyes can be mixed more easily or obtained from different materials or plants.
Dead bushes and dry grass can be turned into normal grass and bushes with bone meal and vice versa with smelting. Dead bushes can also be turned into a stick.
