Tiered Armors

Description for Version 1.1:

Hi, and welcome to the successor of my Heavy Armors Mod. This is the Tiered Armors Mod! This mod brings in the ability to upgrade armor through a tier list. Upgrading the armor brings better durability, defence as well as armor toughness.

The upgrade-able armors are Iron, Gold and Diamond.Currently, the only available tiers are Tier I and TII. Within the Tiers are 4 versions. These are; MK1, MK2, MK3 and MK4. With each upgrade comes with an increase in the stats of the armor. As a bonus, the armor gains armor toughness.

To craft the new armor, you will need to create an item called Armor Plates. Currently there are the TI and TII Armor Plate, which comes in three kinds; Iron, Gold and Diamond.

Crafting:

To craft the armor plates, you will need the desired material placed in the center of the crafting table, and 4 iron nuggets placed around the sides, creating a plus (+) shape. To create the TII Plates you will need a TI Plate in the center, the respective material around the sides, and iron nuggets in the corners, filling the crafting table.

To craft the upgraded armor, you will need an undamaged piece of armor to be placed in the middle of the crafting table, with 2 armor plates along the row, and the new armor piece will be created.

To upgrade the armor even further, just repeat the recipe above with the new armor piece to upgrade it. You can repair damaged armor by using armor plates in an anvil, and if you don’t want your upgraded armor, you can smelt it to regain most of the lost resources.
