About

Description

This is a datapack that tweaks values across the board for the Tierify mod, which adds rarity tiers and stat buffs/debuffs to equipment in the modpack. The goal of this datapack is to smooth out values across the board so they feel more logical and progressive, while keeping their original max values intact. This datapack was created specifically for the Prominence II RPG modpack by ElocinDev, but was designed to work in any situation if the values here are desired

Current changes found in the datapack include:

  • Slightly increased roll weights, which now allows Mythic gear to be crafted/found in loot in rare cases
  • Stat value tweaks across the board for all equipment types, to smooth out the stat progression going through the different tiers
  • Explicit addition of Rose Gold tools from the Oxidized mod, since it was missing the necessary tags provided by AutoTag
  • Expanded ranged weapons definitions to include more weapon options (includes Marium's Soulslike Weaponry guns in Prominence II)
  • Shield values reworked to match Armor values, effectively making them a "5th armor piece" in terms of tier buffs
  • Removed offhand from valid equipment slots for bows to prevent dual wielding exploiting for unnatural ranged stat buffs
  • Added several reforge material compatibilities for various bows in the pack that don't have automatic repair material registration, as well as modded metal equipment that have had Ore Unification applied to them, resulting in impossible to get reforge materials before

All new stat changes that this datapack provides can be found on my Google Sheet here

To install, simply download the latest version and drop the .zip file into your datapacks folder of your world, and make sure Tierify is properly installed as well.

Feel free to use this in your own modpack as well if you like the values I've created here!
