Timbershriek

Chop a tree, and he's already coming.

Timbershriek adds a single forest predator to Minecraft. The only thing that summons him is the sound of a tree being felled. Break a log, day or night, and he may begin materializing somewhere nearby before coming straight for you.

What he does

• Summoned by tree chopping — every log is a gamble, and this ambush is the only way he naturally enters the world.
• Hunts relentlessly — at a normal run he gains on you; sprinting gives you a chance to escape.
• Crosses water and climbs — rivers, shorelines, and walls are no longer easy exploits.
• Rejects wooden weapons — wooden tools deal no damage and answer with a heavy thunk. Bring stone or better.
• Looks and sounds unique — a custom animated body, layered bark texture, glowing white eyes, long teeth, and a full original sound palette.
• Materializes from the forest — bark, moss, and smoke announce the ambush before he appears.
• Can be escaped — get truly clear of the hunt and he vanishes back into the forest.
• Drops Gnarled Heartwood — a guaranteed trophy that can also fuel four furnace operations.
• Can be configured — adjust the log-break spawn chance and choose Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulty from the pause menu.
