About
Description
Timeflow
Small mod that disconnects the day/night cycle from the
tick rate. Days and nights get independent real-world durations, while
`gameTime`, redstone and random ticks stay at 20 so farms, hoppers and
mob spawning behave exactly as they do in vanilla.
Features
- Separate real-world lengths for day and night (vanilla is ~10 minutes each)
- Sleeping speeds time up instead of skipping the night, when not enough
players are asleep to skip it
- Optionally retimes rain and thunder so storms don't outlast a long day
- Optionally rescales villager restocking and gossip to once per in-game day
- In-game config screen (Mods → Timeflow → Config)
OP Commands
| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
| `/timeflow day ` | Set day length |
| `/timeflow night ` | Set night length |
| `/timeflow sleepspeed ` | Set the sleeping time multiplier |
| `/timeflow minplayers ` | Players online before sleeping speeds time up |
| `/timeflow nightonly ` | Only speed time up after dusk |
Disclaimer
- No I will not backport.
- No plans for Fabric for now. If requested enough I'll look into it as I don't use it or really know how to use it.
