Tiny Item Animations: Curios Fix
This is a small client-side compatibility fix for Tiny Item Animations and Curios API.
When using Tiny Item Animations in the Curios accessory screen, item icons could grow when placed into a slot but fail to shrink back after the animation finished. This happens because Curios uses its own slot-rendering method and skips part of Tiny Item Animations' animation update logic.
This mod restores that missing update so Curios slots correctly play the complete item icon animation:
- Item icons grow when an item is placed into a Curios slot.
- Item icons smoothly shrink back after the pickup animation.
- The fix applies to the Curios accessory screen only.
- Vanilla inventory screens and other container screens are left unchanged.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.60 or newer
- Tiny Item Animations 1.2.1 or newer
- Curios API 9.5.1 or newer
Installation
- Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1.
- Install Tiny Item Animations and Curios API.
- Place
tia_curios_fix-1.0.0.jarin the client'smodsfolder. - Launch the game with NeoForge.
This is a client-side fix. The mod does not include or replace Tiny Item Animations or Curios API; both dependencies must remain installed separately.
Compatibility
Designed for the following versions:
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.x
- Tiny Item Animations 1.2.1
- Curios API 9.5.1
The fix is intentionally limited to the Curios screen and does not change item behavior, slot rules, or animation settings.
