Description

Tism's Atmosphere

Have you ever walked outside and the air quality was horrible, or there was a really bad storm, or something of that sorts? Well, now your going to experience that in minecraft. Tism's atmosphere adds all of the following:

Air Quality

  • When down in the caves or especially mining coal, air quality will drop. This causes your character to have side effects that may not be benificial.
  • Air Humidity, dependent on biome, will influence events such as tornadoes and rain, so watch out.
  • Wind will now occasionally breeze by, bringing with it fresh air you may desperately need.
  • Atmospheric pressure will gradually increase or drop, influencing hurricanes and tornadoes.

Temperature

  • Like wearing iron armor in the desert? Not anymore. Armors now have hypothermic and hyperthermic affects, and iron is by far the worst for both... Leather can help in cold biomes, though I cant say the same for deserts.
  • If you feel a nice breeze in a desert, you thankfully wont overheat as fast.
  • Oceans can get warmer or colder, influencing hurricanes.

Weather

  • Severe Thunderstorms spawn... Quite usual, really. Not much special about them.
  • Hurricanes now spawn dependent on air pressure, humidity, and ocean temperature. Warmer oceans may bring with them horrible hurricanes. Hurricanes have a lot of lightning, you cant see far, and last a while.
  • Tornadoes now spawn dependent on wind and humidity. They have a lot of lightning, and can hurl and destroy blocks and entities... Including players. You also wont see far, so theres that. WARNING: MIGHT LAG IF HIGH LEVEL TORNADOES GO INTO MOUNTAINS.
