Tired of jumping from stone tools to diamond in your first cave? This mod completely reworks Minecraft’s gear progression, creating a slower, more rewarding upgrade path that encourages exploration, crafting, and survival.

No more mining iron with stone tools! Each tool and armor tier must be crafted using the previous tier as a base. And progression is locked behind Upgrade Smithing Templates that must be found in structures across the world.

Progression Path:
🪨 Stone → 🟠 Copper → ⚙️ Iron → 🟣 Obsidian → 💎 Diamond → 💚 Emerald → 🔥 Netherite

Core Features:

⛏️ Tools and armor require the previous tier to upgrade, no skipping ahead.

Progression is locked behind Upgrade Smithing Templates found in world structures:
