Tom's Hardcore Core

Tom's Hardcore Core is a custom mod developed for a hardcore Minecraft modpack. It currently adds the Forbidden Altar of Resurrection, a multiblock ritual that allows players to resurrect eliminated players in exchange for eight valuable items.

The mod will receive additional features and gameplay changes in future updates, including a major rework of the Ender Dragon fight.

Current Features

Forbidden Altar of Resurrection

A resurrection system designed specifically for Hardcore mode.

  • Structure Preview: Place the Forbidden Core to display the structure required for the ritual.

  • Ritual Components: Build the structure and place eight required items on their designated pedestals.

  • Displayed Item Order: The core shows the required items and the order in which they must be placed.

  • Player Selection: Right-click the completed core with the Crystal of Unlimited Might to select a player for resurrection.

  • Item Consumption: Once the resurrection is initiated, all eight offerings are absorbed by the crystal.

  • One Resurrection per Player: Each player can only be resurrected once.

Required Items

The resurrection ritual requires the following eight items:

  • Lifestealer Skull

  • Ice Dragon Heart

  • Block of Dragon Bones

  • Lich Trophy

  • Totem of Undying

  • Fire Dragon Heart

  • Hogskin

  • Blood Vial

How to Use

  1. Place the Forbidden Core.

  2. Build the structure shown by the core.

  3. Place all eight required items on the pedestals in the displayed order.

  4. Right-click the Forbidden Core with the Crystal of Unlimited Might.

  5. Select the player you want to resurrect.

  6. The offerings are consumed, and the resurrection ritual begins.

Planned Features

Tom's Hardcore Core is actively being developed. Planned additions include:

  • Ender Dragon Fight Rework: A major overhaul of the Ender Dragon encounter.

  • Additional custom mechanics and content for the hardcore modpack.

Planned features are subject to change as development progresses.

This mod is primarily intended for use with its associated hardcore modpack. Some functionality may require other mods from the pack.
