Are you tired of that iron pickaxe breaking quickly? Well, this is a mod that adds steel armor and tools It is better than iron in terms of durability and damage

Adds steel as a repair for durability and early damage until you get diamonds

Extras: Steel and Armored Steel Creative Tab Tools: steel sword Steel axe steel shovel; Steel axe Steel shovel steel ore Solid iron Steel block scuttle

Compared to iron, toughness is improved with tool steels (250 -> 750) Steel tools are slightly more effective (6.0 -> 6.5) (steel sword 6.0 -> 6.7), and steel armor has +0.7 armor hardness. Steel has slightly higher magic (14 -> 15)
