Heavy Vanguard Blade adds a massive, heavy-duty sword designed for players who prefer slow, powerful strikes and tanky, defensive gameplay.

🔸 Base Stats & Mechanics

• Massive Range: Increased attack reach, allowing you to hit enemies from further away.

• High Damage & Heavy Cooldown: Hits extremely hard, but requires precise timing due to a slow attack speed.

• Extreme Durability: Built to last through the toughest boss fights.

• Heavy Weight (Passive Penalty): Holding the blade in your hand slows down your movement speed.

• Knockback Resistance: Reduces knockback taken from mob attacks and explosions while held.

🛡️ The Totem Infusion Mechanic

During crafting, the blade incorporates a Totem of Undying.

• Second Chance: If you take lethal damage while holding the infused sword, the Totem inside triggers automatically, saving your life and granting standard Totem status effects.

• Depleted State: Once used, the Totem shatters from the weapon. The blade transforms into its Depleted Variant:

  • Slightly reduced attack reach.

  • Slightly less movement penalty (a bit lighter).

  • Slightly reduced knockback resistance.

🔨 How to Recharge the Blade

You can restore your Depleted Blade back to its full power using a Smithing Table:

• Base: Depleted Blade

• Addition: Totem of Undying

• Template: Flow Armor Trim

Combine these three items to re-infuse the Totem into your weapon!
