About

Description

This mod mostly works as a multi-purpose custom addon I made for my mod pack using mcreator. Because of this, most features don't make much sense if you are playing with this mod outside of my pack. It is advised that you just use my modpack if you want to get the full experience of what this mod does, but I see no reason why you can't enjoy implementing parts of this into your pack. Some horror aspects are present, by the way, because I like giving minecraft a darker side.

Fallout Liquid:

Left over from the explosion, this substance irradiates any contiguous lava into more fallout liquid(But not in the nether or nightmare realm for lag reasons). Every block tick, there is a 1/1000 chance that an irradiated corpse will spawn in this substance.

Irradiated Corpse:

This mob is just like a regular zombie, except that is has way less health, twice the attack damage, is much faster, and is immune to fire. If you think you can farm these nuisances, go ahead. You won't get anything.
here, an irradiated corpse is seen in the fallout liquid where it spawned from.

Nether:

This mod, like one I've already made, raises the overall temperature of the nether by making players unable to place wet sponges there without them drying up and unable to place snow or ice there without it incinerating.

Crimson Apples:

While unobtainable when this mod is by itself, these apples give you regen 4 for about twenty seconds and refill the same ammount of hunger as a baked potato.

Abyssalcraft changes:

Whenever fighting Cha'garoth, I've noticed that sometimes it's almost impossible to claim that boss' drops. By the time He is dead, He has often spawned 50 or so overpowered dread mobs that protect His drops ridiculously well within the tiny arena. The anti-dread enderbomb fixes this issue by harnessing the same power of the enderdragon that the original nuke did and dispersing it in a similar, but slightly less powerful, way. Working on a higher plane of existence than most tnt, this bomb destroys the dimensional tether between Cha'garoth and His minions, thus killing the minions with ease. If you're playing with this mod outside of the pack, it costs one enderdragon head, 6 tnt, and 2 pearls. If you're using the pack, I changed the recipe via crafttweaker.

Nightmares:

Every time you sleep, there is a 1/20 chance you will be jumpscared. Disable this by crafting a note into a paper ball. Then, go into the nightmare realm from the good night's sleep mod(or any dimension with dim value 45) and right click the ground with this paper ball. A boss will spawn. Kill it and you will have no more nightmares.

Notes:

My modpack places them into various structures' chests via the wastelands mod and ruins mod configs. Alternatively, they drop from vindicators. You'll need these notes to stop having nightmares. Right click while holding a note to read lore.

Obsidian tablets:

Lore-wise, they function the same as the notes except for the fact that they are in draconic. Look up the translations online or someone in the comments can put the translations. I'm not stopping anyone. These tablets are only dropped by endermen in the end dimension one tenth of the time.

By the way, here's a link to the website I used to translate these into draconic:

http://draconic.twilightrealm.com/

Ulthar cats:

Vanilla (albeit untamed) cats spawn in the Good Night's Sleep dimension. If they so much as suspect you of even indirectly trying to hurt them, however, they will trigger and go feral on you.

Zoogs:

The ratlike mortal enemies of Ulthar cats. They will naturally attack any cats and you by default, but are scared of aggravated ulthar cats. They spawn in the dark places of the good dream dimension.

Ulthar Cottages and Farms:

These charming little green cottages probably won't spawn correctly if this mod is used outside of my modpack(they use blocks from the Aether, Fossils and Archaeology, Twilight Forest, Atum, and Betweenlands mods). Still, a vanilla villager will spawn in each cottage and farm and so will a bed that goes back to the overworld. These will spawn on the water of the good dream dimension.

Gugs:

Occasionally, you may catch their towers spawning in the nightmare realm. As is the inconsistent nature of the dreamlands. Rarely, they will spawn outside of towers.

Gug Towers:

Built to the proportions of a gug, these cyclopean structures are built of cobble and occasionally house gateways to the good dream.

Zin Ghasts:

Naturally hunted by Gugs, these pack animals spawn in the nightmare dimension. These beings also hunt gugs back and resemble a mix between what Lovecraft and Minecraft says a ghast looks like.

 Banana Slugs:

They may be slow, but don't let them touch you! Their touch gives you poison 4, nausea, and hunger for 5 seconds. They were designed for the twilight forest, but also spawn in jungles when using default worldtype. Sometimes they drop slime and sometimes--yes--they drop bananas.

PS: even though this mod adds nuclear waste and mention of nuclear technology, I have no intention of implementing nukes. Minecraft Steve wouldn't be so stupid as to have the world blow up a second time.
