About

Description

This data pack aims to disable the following duplication glitches: rails; carpets; string; tnt; gravity blocks; tripwire hooks. It does this by deleting the duplicated item or entity after it has been created in the general set-ups.

Notes: dupes are enabled by default, so disable them in the settings.

Hide the “world warning” when enabling this datapack

Rename the following files inside the datapack .zip from .json to .txt:

  • data\minecraft\tags\dialog\pause_screen_additions.json.txt
  • data\no_dupe\dialog\settings.json.txt
  • no_dupe_overlay_88\data\no_dupe\dialog\settings.json.txt

Setup / settings (1.21.6+) for server owners or single players

The configuration is now handled through an in-game dialog menu.

You can open it in either of these ways:

  • /trigger tq_no_dupe_tutorial
  • From the pause menu (in-game)

The current settings can still be viewed with:

  • /trigger tq_no_dupe_tell_settings
Older versions (previous setup via commands)

There are various commands to configure this data pack for your world or server, shown with /trigger tq_no_dupe_tutorial or below here:

  • command to enable a dupe: /function no_dupe:enable_dupe {dupe:'<duplication_glitch>'}
  • command to disable a dupe: /function no_dupe:disable_dupe {dupe:'<duplication_glitch>'}
  • command to view the current dupe settings: /trigger tq_no_dupe_tell_settings
  • <duplication_glitch> is one of: rails; carpets; tnt; gravity_blocks; tripwire_hooks (and string before 1.21.2).
  • /function-commands are admin commands and thus require OP.

The settings of the data pack are viewable with /trigger tq_no_dupe_tell_settings.
