A gameplay addon for The Vampire Diaries Universe Mod that expands the human experience with a new dormant DNA and awakening system, automatic human first joins, custom bloodlines, and admin commands.

TVDU+ is designed to work alongside the original TVDU mod, adding new progression and customization without replacing its existing systems.

Features

🧬 Dormant DNA System

Not every human has to stay human forever.

At age 22, Human players have a chance to awaken their dormant DNA and gain supernatural abilities.

If the awakening does not happen at 22, Humans can still awaken later when they are badly injured. While below 2 hearts, taking damage gives another chance to awaken.

Once a player awakens, they receive a randomly generated DNA rarity.

✨ DNA Rarities

There are 7 DNA rarities, ranging from Common to Unique:

Common

• Uses TVDU's normal randomizer behavior.

• Receives a random species, trait and bloodline according to the original mod's system.

Uncommon

• Works like Common.

• Has a slightly increased chance of receiving rarer species, traits and bloodlines.

Rare

• Increased chance of rarer DNA.

• Chance to receive an additional species.

• Increased chance of receiving a trait.

Epic

• Guaranteed to receive 2 species.

• Increased chance of rarer DNA.

• Chance to receive 2 traits.

Legendary

• 60% chance for 2 species.

• 40% chance for 3 species.

• Increased chance of rarer DNA.

• Guaranteed 2 traits.

Mythic

• Guaranteed 2 species.

• Strong increased chance of rarer DNA and other rare attributes.

• 60% chance for 2 traits.

• 40% chance for 3 traits.

Unique

• The rarest DNA rarity.

• Receives every species included in the addon system.

• Receives every available trait.

• Receives the rarest DNA attributes.

• Uses the custom Halliwell Bloodline.

🧙 Halliwell Bloodline

TVDU+ introduces a completely new Halliwell bloodline.

Halliwell is not an existing TVDU bloodline. It is added by this addon and combines the perks associated with the existing bloodlines into one special bloodline.

The Halliwell bloodline can be assigned through the addon command system.

👤 Automatic Human First Join

Players no longer have to choose or randomize their starting species when joining for the first time.

New players automatically begin as Human.

This makes the dormant DNA system the natural progression system for servers that want everyone to start human and want Progression to be slower and harder.

🛠️ Admin Commands

TVDU+ includes several commands for server owners, admins and testing.

Set a player's addon bloodline.

Current addon bloodline:

Halliwell

/tvddna

Give yourself or another player a specific DNA rarity.

Available rarities:

Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Unique

/tvduawakening

Force a player's awakening without waiting for the normal age or damage requirements.

All addon commands are restricted to players with the appropriate command permissions (OP Players in Server and in Singleplayer when Cheats are Allowed)

Currently This mod works only for The 5.8.9 Version of The Vampire Diaries Universe Mod.

TVDU+ does not replace the original mod and is intended to extend its existing species, trait, bloodline and age systems.

This is an addon for The Vampire Diaries Universe. TVDU is required. Please support the original TVDU project and its creators (Aizyahoo). This addon is not affiliated with or an official part of the original TVDU project. Which means It is an unofficial addon for TVDU

Small Note: This mod was Originally just a simple mod that removes the species selection screen and auto sets your Species to Human, and I am no Artist or Mastermind so dont expect for crazy stuff like models and pictures or other stuff to be really good. Im just a simple person. and new to coding. but you can still suggest anything u want.
