Ultimate Biome Blend

Say goodbye to harsh biome borders! Experience the smoothest transitions in Minecraft history – with unmatched performance and full Sodium compatibility.

Minecraft's vanilla biome blending (max 15x15) often leaves ugly, blocky color lines in your landscapes. While other mods try to fix this, they either tank your framerate or crash when combined with Sodium. Ultimate Biome Blend solves this using advanced mathematics and a lightweight design.

Why Ultimate Biome Blend?

Unlike other mods that use heavy 3D cache layers and complex color space conversions (which causes them to lag or limit the blend radius to 14x14 on Sodium), Ultimate Biome Blend focuses on raw performance. By utilizing a flat 2D Summed Area Table (SAT) cache, it provides a butter-smooth 31x31 blend radius even with Sodium fully enabled, all with zero FPS drops and a tiny 1MB memory footprint.

Features:

  • Ultra-Smooth Transitions: Expand your Biome Blend radius from the vanilla limit of 15x15 all the way up to 31x31.
  • O(1) Time Complexity (Zero Lag): Utilizing Summed Area Tables (SAT), the game calculates blended colors in constant time. 31x31 blending runs just as fast as vanilla!
  • Sodium Outsmarted: Fully compatible with Sodium's rendering pipeline. Seamlessly overrides the Sodium Quality menu settings and redirects its voxel tinting safely to prevent out-of-bounds crashes.
  • Lightweight & Modular: Built for Fabric. Fully compatible with resource packs and major rendering mods.
