Ultrabright Lib

A library mod that extends Minecraft's light level system from the vanilla limit of 15 all the way up to 127.

Features

• Extended Light Levels — Push the maximum light level from 15 to 127, enabling ultra-bright light sources
• Easy Integration — Other mods simply register blocks with light emission values above 15, and Ultrabright Lib handles the extended lighting automatically
• Ultrabright Torch — A creative-only test torch with a light level of 30, included to demonstrate the library's capabilities

How It Works

Ultrabright Lib patches the vanilla light engine at the bit level, widening the internal storage from 4-bit to 8-bit. Extended light data is persisted to chunks and synchronized to clients seamlessly.

Compatibility

Works with any NeoForge mod that registers blocks with light emission values above 15. No configuration required — simply install and enjoy.
