Description

There is nothing left. V1 has cleared through all of Hell, killed all of its inhabitants, and drained them of all of their blood. To preserve the last bit of blood it has left, V1 reduces its visual resolution even further. But salvation comes in the form of a portal to a new world, a world teeming with life, a world teeming with blood.

MANKIND IS DEAD.

This mod implements some of the systems from ULTRAKILL into Minecraft.

Intended to be fairly vanilla friendly and customizable so as to seamlessly integrate into larger modpacks.

This mod requires the PlayerAnimator mod to run.

Mechanics

Dash

Bounded to "R" by default.

Use to dash forward a moderate distance. Has a cooldown of 1 Second.

Grants 0.2 Seconds of invincibility upon use.

Slide

Bounded to "V" by default.

Use to slide forward for 1 Second. Has a cooldown of 2 Seconds.

Grants invincibility for its entire 1 Second duration.

Sliding grants the player the Style effect. Killing enemies while in Style grants bonus effects.

Double Jump

Not in ULTRAKILL, but serves as a replacement for wall jumps. Can be disabled.

Use to jump again while mid air. Has a cooldown of 1 Second.

Slam

Bounded to "V" by default.

Use while in the air to slam downwards. Has a cooldown of 2 Seconds.

Deals 4 Damage (2 Hearts) in an AOE around the player.

Punch

Bounded to "G" by default.

Use to punch. Has a cooldown of 1 Second.

Deals 1 Damage (½ Heart) in an AOE in front of the player.

Punching within 0.25 Seconds of an attack results in a parry.

Parrying a mob will deal an additional 4 Damage (2 Hearts) and push them backwards.

Parrying a projectile will launch it back towards the player crosshair.

Most values are configurable. This includes damage, cooldown, parry window, and invincibility duration.

Can be configured to consume hunger upon use of abilities.

Fall damage is disabled by default so movement mechanics do not hinder gameplay.

Blood

Just like in ULTRAKILL, killing enemies will result in a large blood splatter.

If you are close to the enemy when they die, you will be healed 8 Health (4 Hearts).

Can also be configured to restore hunger as well.

Style

While sliding, you gain the Style effect.

Killing an enemy with the Style effect active grants bonus effects.

By default, Style Kills grant

  • Speed II for 10 Seconds
  • Jump Boost II for 10 Seconds
  • Resistance I for 10 Seconds

The effects, their levels, and their duration are all configurable.
