Umbral Hunt is a survival-horror mod centered on the Nightmare Stalker, a towering entity that watches from a distance, disappears when discovered, sends unsettling messages, and eventually begins its hunt.

FEATURES

• A custom 3D Nightmare Stalker with animations and sound effects
• Stalking, watching, appearing, disappearing, and hunting behavior
• Natural encounters that can injure you but cannot directly deliver the final blow
• Configurable spawning, hunt range, night-only encounters, and fear effects
• A lethal Ritual Stalker boss with 220 health and a visible boss bar
• The Umbral Riteblade, the only weapon capable of damaging the ritual boss
• A Heart Chamber sequence after defeating the boss
• The Nightmare Heart and craftable Stalker Beacon
• A Stalker Beacon that provides three effects when built on a valid beacon pyramid
• Spawn eggs for testing or custom maps
• Multiplayer and dedicated-server support

REQUIREMENTS

• Minecraft 1.20.1
• Minecraft Forge 47.4.20 or newer
• GeckoLib 4.8.3 or newer
• Java 17

Install Umbral Hunt and GeckoLib on both the client and server.
