[NoCube's] Undergarden Delight is an add-on for Farmer's Delight that adds extended compatibility with The Undergarden.
It introduces 30+ new meals and drinks, along with new tools, blocks, useful recipes, and various quality-of-life features.
It's recommended to play with JEI and Appleskin mods to see recipes & food stats in-game.

📖Features

🦴New Tools & Interactions

Kill creatures from The Undergarden using Knives to obtain additional materials. Mobs that drop Leather, Bones, Brute Tusks, or Mogmoss will yield extra amounts of those items. In addition, Gwibs and Greater Dwellers will drop Gwibsteak and Greater Dweller Hamlegs, respectively. These items will be dropped in their cooked form if the creature is killed by fire or with the Fire Aspect enchantment. Cutting Undergarden grass will also provide Straw, just as it does in the Overworld.

New Tools

  • Depthrock Knife - Low durability, has lower attack range (1.21.1 only)
  • Brute Tusk Knife - Harvests blood globules from Rotspawn mobs.
  • Cloggrum Knife - Can be upgraded with Forgotten Smithing Template.
  • Froststeel Knife - Has chance to slow target on hit.
  • Utherium Knife - Extra damage to Rotspawn.
  • Forgotten Knife - Extra damage to non-boss Undergarden mobs.
  • [1.21.1+] Rogdorium Knife  - Has extended attack range.

New Block Drops

  • Cut Undergarden grass/shrubs with any knife for a chance to get Straw.

New Mob Drops

  • Gwib drops Gwibsteaks (Cooked when killed with fire or Fire Aspect)
  • Greater Dweller has chance to drop Dweller Hamlegs
  • Dweller has chance to drop Dweller Hamleg

🍄Enhance Your Undergarden Farms

Make Compost using an alternative recipe that incorporates Undergarden materials (Mogmoss can be substituted with either Tree Bark or Blue Mogmoss). Use Rich Soil to accelerate Droopfruit growth or to cultivate Veil, Ink, Puff, Indigo, and Blood Mushroom Colonies! These colonies function just like those from Farmer's Delight and can be sliced on a Cutting Board to yield 5 mushrooms.

📦Storage & Deco

Complete the Undergarden wood sets with new cabinets in Farmer's Delight style, store
crops with new crates. Use them to store your belongings or decorate your buildings!

New Cabinets are crafted using matching Undergarden Wood Slabs & Trapdoors. They provide 27 storage slots (3 rows × 9) and function similarly to Farmer's Delight cabinets or vanilla barrels. There are several cabinet variants:

  • Grongle Cabinet
  • Wigglewood Cabinet
  • Smogstem Cabinet
  • Ancient Root Cabinet  - 1.21.1 version only

New Crates are compact storage blocks that hold 9 units of a single fruit/vegetable/material. They can be made on a crafting table and unpacked back into their original 9 items at any time. The following variants are available:

  • Underbean Crate
  • Blisterberry Crate
  • Ditchbulb Crate
  • Droopfruit Crate
  • Twistytwig Bundle - can also be used as a furnace fuel.

⚙️Compatibility & Configuration

The mod is designed with mod compatibility and modpack integration in mind. Many features and recipes rely on common forge/neoforge tags, allowing ingredients from other mods to be used interchangeably (meats, vegetables, mushrooms and etc). The tag-based design also makes customization easier, as many features and recipe ingredients can be modified through datapacks without requiring additional code changes.
