About

Description

Unify is an oredictionary mod & utility to finally put an end to the multiple ores issue in modpacks.

- It is intended for use by mod developers & modpack builders to use for their projects - it does nothing on its own other than add blocks, items, alloys and correct forge tags for those things.

Each ore has been added with care to ensure compatibility with the most mods, while adding some new alloys to build mods off of.

Almost every modded minecraft modpack comes with the caveat of every mod having its own ores, most of which (like tin, lead & aluminium) overlap with other mods and cause disruption with many pack developers having to turn off certain modded ores. - This intends to solve the issue partially by adding a base layer for which mods can build from using forge tags. Thus preventing more modded ores from being created and overlapping.

This mod does NOT disable or modify other mod's world/ore generation! - It is intended as a Modder's Utility or Modpack Creator tool to put an end to the duplicate ores.

Every mod that uses forge tags should be compatible with this mod.

For mod developers that wish to make their mod compatible - leave your ores in the mod, and only disable them if Unify is detected - so that you do not have to wait for this mod to update to a new version of the game.

Everything new in Unify!
