Description
Welcome to Use Your Arm!
Hold **R (or the keybind you decide)** and your mouse stops turning the camera and moves your arm instead. Fight, mine, chop, aim and block by actually moving your hand. You can still walk, jump and sneak the whole time.
How it works
- **Hold R** to take control of your arm. The crosshair follows your hand, and glides back to center when you let go.
- **Hold R + left-click and swing** to hit mobs and break blocks. Speed is power: a lazy sweep does nothing, a fast swing hits hard (up to 1.5× a normal hit), and mining builds up crack by crack with each swing.
- **Without left-click,** your arm moves freely and never breaks anything, so you can build without accidents.
- Swords, pickaxes, axes, shovels, hoes and maces pull back when you're aiming and push out when you're ready to strike, so you always know which mode you're in.
- Everything is hands-on
- **Bows & crossbows:** hold R, draw with right-click, aim with your hand, release to fire. Let go of R to lower without shooting.
- **Throwables:** snowballs, eggs, ender pearls, potions, experience bottles, wind charges and tridents fly where your hand points.
- **Fishing rods** cast toward your crosshair.
- **Shields** go where you put them. They only block attacks from the direction you're covering, so you have to actually read the fight.
- **Eating & brushing** take effort: keep moving your hand to make progress.
- **Shears:** swing near a sheep to shear it, or swing at leaves to cut them.
- **Placing blocks** and **flint and steel** need R held, and go where your crosshair points.
- Doors, chests, crafting tables, villagers, horses and boats all work with a normal right-click.
Multiplayer
Your arm movements are shown to other players in real time, and you see theirs, in first and third person. The server checks every hit, so it works fairly on multiplayer servers.
Requirements
- Minecraft **1.21.1**
- **Fabric Loader** and **Fabric API**
- Install on the **client and the server** (singleplayer just needs your client)
The keybind can be changed under **Options → Controls → Use Your Arm**.
