Description

Valestia RPG — Core Mod

The original Valestia adventure mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Fabric.

Previously called Echoes of the Aether, this project is now Valestia RPG. The name has changed; internal identifiers remain compatible with existing saves. Back up worlds before updating.

Begin in Starfall, a floating town linked to the Ember Crown, Frostbound Citadel, and Stormspire Temple. Earn personal guardian essences, forge your soulbound Sanctum Key, and uncover the Crown Sanctum. Visit the market and challenge the Endless Spire: leaving preserves your floor checkpoint, choosing a reset starts over, and death resets the run. The Spire currently permits one active entrant at a time.

The core mod adds original equipment and progression, Realm Rift encounters, a Player Card, custom interface elements, and a Patchouli Field Guide. Rift announcements provide coordinates and directions; nearby beams and hints help locate them, and /rift finds the nearest active rift.

Want the complete experience?

This page distributes the core mod, not the full modpack. For the configured companion mods, expanded FTB Quests tutorials, shaders, storage, exploration, and combat integrations, install the Valestia RPG complete modpack. The complete pack includes this core mod automatically.

Use Minecraft 1.20.1, Fabric, and Java 17, together with the required dependencies shown on the file's Relations page. A new world is recommended for the intended starting experience. Existing structures are not automatically replaced.

Beta and feedback

Version 1.0.3-beta.2 passed 25 automated game tests. Visual, multiplayer, and balance testing continues.

This is my first project like this, and all feedback is appreciated. Please report confusing or clunky mechanics, bugs, difficulty issues, or loot and drop rates that need attention.
