The mod tells the story of a villain named Shadow, who created the diseases of vampirism and lycanthropy. His brother, a mage, helps him in his evil deeds. The mage and Shadow were once human, but when the plague struck, they were unable to recover. They found a scroll in their home that made them immortal and evil.
