Become a vampire, werewolf, hybrid or witch in the world of The Vampire Diaries!

Mystic Falls brings the supernatural world of the show into Minecraft: vampire transition and compulsion, the werewolf curse under the full moon, witch magic with a spell wheel and levels, wild vampires and werewolves roaming the night, vampire hunters, the townspeople of Mystic Falls, the Salvatore Boarding House, vervain, daylight rings, white oak stakes and much more.

🧛 Vampires

How to become a vampire:

1. Get vampire blood in your system: drink a vial of Vampire Blood, get fed blood by a friend… or get bitten by a wild vampire, who may force you to drink its blood
2. Die while it's still in your system
3. You wake up in transition: you have 5 minutes to drink human blood, or you die for good!

Powers: speed, strength, night vision, fast healing

• [V] Bite: drink the blood of animals, villagers, townspeople… or players
• [Sneak + V] Give your blood: heal a friend — but if they die within 5 minutes, they wake up as a vampire!
• [R] Vampire Speed: a super fast dash
• [G] Compulsion: look into someone's eyes and give an order
• [H] Vampire face: glowing red eyes and dark veins — it also appears on its own when you are angry or thirsty

No more hunger: vampires don't eat anymore. The blood bar replaces the hunger bar, and you lose blood over time.

⏳ Vampire age

The longer you stay a vampire, the stronger you get:

Older vampires also get thirsty more slowly.

👁️ Compulsion

Press G while looking at a target and pick an order (or press 1–9). Sneak + G repeats the last order.

Vervain protects against compulsion. Vampires, hunters, werewolves and bosses are immune.

Weaknesses:

• ☀️ The sun burns you — unless you carry a Daylight Ring
• 🌿 Vervain burns you; vervain-coated blades hurt and weaken you
• 🪵 Stakes hurt a lot, and white oak kills you for good (you become human again)
• 🐺 A werewolf bite is lethal — only hybrid blood cures it

🐺 Werewolves

Some players are born with the werewolf gene without knowing it… Taking a human life awakens the curse. Under the full moon, you are forced to turn into a giant black wolf with glowing orange eyes — huge strength and speed, and a bite that is lethal to vampires.

• Carry a Moonstone to resist the full moon
• Beware of Wolfsbane: it burns you

🧬 Hybrids

A werewolf who becomes a vampire turns into a hybrid, like Klaus:

• All vampire powers, stronger
• [B] Transform into a wolf at will
• Immune to werewolf bites — their blood is the only cure
• Hybrid face: golden werewolf eyes with vampire veins

🔮 Witches

A human who opens a Grimoire discovers they come from a line of witches.

• Hold [N]: the spell wheel appears — point at a spell and release to select it
• [C]: cast your spell — no need to hold the grimoire
• [X]: Expression magic

✨ 9 spells, unlocked by leveling up

Every spell cast gives experience: more max magic, stronger spells, new spells.

• 🛡️ Barriers are permanent (even after a server restart). Cast again inside to turn it on/off, sneak to remove it. Up to 3 per witch.
• 🕯️ Channeling: lit candles around you recharge your magic faster and make your spells stronger. The full moon boosts magic too.
• 🕯️ Ancestors' ritual: surrounded by 5+ lit candles, sneak + right click with the grimoire to restore all your magic.
• 🩸 Expression magic: spells are twice as powerful but cost your life… and can slip out of your control.
• 💍 Daylight rings: craft a Lapis Lazuli Ring, then a witch enchants it. Vampires need witches!

🌍 A living world

🧛 Wild vampires

They roam at night, flee the sun, dash at their prey and show their vampire face when they attack. Their bite can force you to drink their blood…

🐺 Wild werewolves

Packs of giant black wolves with glowing orange eyes hunt at night in forests and taigas — many more under the full moon. They leave werewolf and hybrid players alone (it's your pack!) and vanish at dawn.

🧑 Townspeople of Mystic Falls

Ordinary humans strolling by day. They flee vampires and werewolves, can be bitten and compelled… and killing one awakens the werewolf curse.

🏹 Vampire hunters

The Founders' Council sends patrols after vampires and werewolves, armed with stakes and vervain / wolfsbane darts. Always on vervain: no compulsion, and their blood burns.

🏚️ The Salvatore Boarding House

A manor hidden in forests and plains: the cellar with Stefan's cell, the blood bag stash and Zach's vervain garden, the living room with its fireplace, Damon's bourbon bar, Stefan's and Damon's bedrooms… and chests full of secrets.
