About

Description

VampPatch is a lightweight compatibility and bug-fix mod for Vampirism – Become a Vampire! on Minecraft 1.12.2.

This mod restores reliable vampire feeding in large or complex modpacks where other mods interfere with Vampirism’s feeding mechanic.

✨ What it fixes

  • Vampire feeding sometimes does nothing

  • No feeding animation (zoom / lock)

  • Blood not being gained even while holding the feed key

  • Other mods overriding or cancelling feeding behavior

VampPatch ensures that Vampirism’s feeding logic always takes priority, regardless of event conflicts caused by other mods.

🔧 How it works

  • Implements a client → server feeding request

  • Uses Vampirism’s official API to apply blood gain

  • Bypasses cancelled interaction / attack events

  • Preserves the classic feeding animation feel (FOV zoom + movement lock)

No gameplay balance changes — this is a pure fix.
