[💎] About the mod:
Variety Things is a remastering of my previous mod called Roleplay Things. This mod improves upon everything from the previous one, and even though it includes fewer things, its quality and offerings are a thousand times better than before. Variety Things is a mod for version 1.20.1 that includes extra fun items and armors to enhance your gaming experience, especially if you play with friends.
All constructive criticism or requests are appreciated to make this mod part of a great community. Enjoy :)
[📖] Mod guide:
ITEMS:
Coin:
Flip a coin by pressing 'Q' to play heads or tails.
Mistery Box:
Place it on the ground to open it, it will randomly grant you valuable items from Minecraft and obviously items from the mod.Get Mystery Boxes by completing the mod's advancements.
Whoopee Cushion:
Right-click with the item in hand to perform a double jump. Obtain it by opening Mystery Boxes.
Rubber Duck:
It's just a rubber duck. Right-click with the item in hand to annoy your friends. Obtain it by opening Mystery Boxes.
Bottled Overworld:
Drink it to be teleported to your spawn point in the Overworld. If consumed in the Overworld, it will break and won't teleport you. Obtain it by opening Mystery Boxes and in Pillager Outposts.
Bottled Nether:
Drink it to be teleported to your spawn point in the Nether (you can set spawn with a Respawn Anchor); if you don't have a spawn point in the Nether, you will be teleported to a random location within it. Obtain it by trading with Piglins.
Bottled End:
Drink it to be teleported to the center of the End. If consumed in the End, it will break and won't teleport you. Obtain it in End Cities.
Gravitational Charge:
Throw this projectile at your enemies to make them levitate for a few seconds. Obtain it by opening Mystery Boxes.
Banana:
Eat it to obtain a banana peel, place this peel on the ground to make all entities that step on it slip. Obtain it by opening Mystery Boxes.
Hot Potato:
Be careful having this item in your inventory! It will cause burns while carrying it and when consumed. Obtain it by cooking a baked potato.
Ender Spittle:
Drink it to return to the coordinates where you previously died. Its side effects will cause you damage when fighting entities. Obtain it in End Cities and by killing Endermen and the Ender Dragon.
Dinamite:
Throw this projectile at blocks and entities to cause a large explosion. This explosion won't do much damage to entities but will help you destroy blocks quickly. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
Sculk Smithing Template:
Combine this ingredient with a piece of Netherite and a Sculk Ingot in a Smithing Table to obtain its corresponding piece of Warden Armor. Obtain it by killing a Warden or completing its crafting recipe.
Sculk Ingot:
Combine this ingredient with a piece of Netherite and a Sculk Smithing Template in a Smithing Table to obtain its corresponding piece of Warden Armor. Obtain it in the chests of the Ancient Cities.
Frozen Stick:
Hit an entity with the item in hand to cause a freezing effect for a few seconds. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
TNT Hammer:
Hit an entity with the item in hand and gunpowder in the inventory to cause an explosive blow. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
Cursed Sword:
Just a regular diamond sword, but inverted, which will cause you damage every time you attack while using it. What's the purpose? Just for the fun of it! Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
Double Gold Pickaxe:
Use this pickaxe to mine blocks in a 3x3 area, but keep in mind that it's still a gold pickaxe, so it will break very quickly. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
Glass Sword:
A very powerful sword that deals even more damage than a netherite sword, but there's just one problem: it's made of glass, so it will break after only 3 hits. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
Bush Armor:
Equip the full armor set to activate its advantages. Crouching will make you invisible and grant you night vision, the perfect armor for a true spy. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
Skeleton Armor:
Equip the full armor set to activate its advantages. The armor will grant you speed and high protection, but it's very fragile and will make you hungry while equipped. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe and killing Skeletons.
Slime Armor:
Equip the full armor set to activate its advantages. The armor will grant you Jump Boost, but upon contact with water, the armor will dissolve into small slimes. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
Invisible Armor:
It's just an invisible leather armor, but if you upgrade it in a Smithing Table, you can enhance it to become an invisible iron, diamond, and even netherite armor. Perfect for roleplay and trolling your friends. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
Warden Armor:
Upgrade your netherite armor in a Smithing Table by combining a piece of netherite, a Sculk Smithing Template, and a Sculk Ingot to obtain the pieces of this armor. This armor has the same properties as netherite but with some changes. When crouching, it will give you speed to escape from any Warden, but it will also blind you. With this full set equipped, you will be healed every time you eliminate an entity, making you very powerful.
Ice Armor:
Equip the full armor set to activate its advantages. It allows you to walk on water and lava, freezing the liquids in your path. A few seconds later, they will return to their default state. When using this armor in the Nether, it will be destroyed by the high temperatures of the dimension. Obtain it by completing its crafting recipe.
Music Disc - Variety:
The song created for Variety Things.
Music Disc - Goodbye:
The farewell song for Roleplay Things.
ADVANCEMENTS:
Cursed Minecraft: Get a Cursed Sword.
Two-Face: Flip a Coin.
Cover Me In... Debris?: Get a full suit of Invisible netherite armor.
It hasn't been me: Use a whoppe cushion.
Bathtub Buddy: Play with a rubber duck.
Minions Reference: Eat a banana.
