Description
Welcome to Varnish! This mod lets you paint blocks with a variety of paints, one for every dye.
To create a paintbrush, you simply replace the copper ingot in the brush recipe with an iron ingot, And paint recipes are made with a stone button, any dye, and string. as shown below.

To apply paint, you hold the paint tube in your offhand, and the paintbrush in your main hand, sneak and right click! Doing that applies the paint onto your paintbrush! To remove the paint from the paintbrush, you can use a Water Bottle instead of a paint tube.
Right-clicking on any block with a paintbrush that has a colour applied will paint the block!

When you break a painted block, the paint will get removed, and the block will go back to normal.
This mod also adds a special explosive... The Paint Bomb! Which explodes when a coat of paint on the explosive is revealed!

The paint bomb says "Trojan" on the label. The only way to safely remove the paint without making it explode is with Paint Thinner. Made by brewing a resin clump into a water bottle.

Finally, there is a special type of paint, Ultrapaint, Which every colour has special effects.
It is made by putting a normal tube of paint in the center of a crafting table, and surrounding it with redstone.

The effects of every ultrapaint are as listed!
Red - Nearby players have half as much invulnerability time, This cannot be stacked.
Orange - Fall damage does not affect nearby players, and increases their mining speed.
Yellow - Acts like the sun and burns undead mobs walking on a block coated with this paint.
Green - Creepers walking on the paint get badly damaged, and naturally bonemeals the surrounding area.
Lime - Extinguishes any fire on top of the paint, including players and mobs.
Cyan - While near the paint, applies the calmed effect. Increasing oxygen, mining speed, and reach.
Light Blue - Freezes nearby water and replaces packed snow with snow blocks.
Blue - Sneaking on a block coated with the paint randomly changes the weather with a cooldown.
Purple - Slowly pulls players toward the paint.
Magenta - Transforms nearby overworld into the nether, with diamonds having a chance to become Ancient Debris.
Pink - When right clicked with a enchantable item, either adds random enchantments to it, adds a enchantment 1 above the limit, but adds a modded curse, or adds a modded enchantment.
White - Clears the effects of every player nearby, like milk.
Black - Applies Blindness, Darkness, and Shaded when walked on, which all darken the screen.
Gray - When walked on, Applies the Obstructed effect, Majorly slowing down movement, but attacks only do half a heart.
Light Gray - While nearby, adds a dense gray fog.
Brown - Naturally places saplings on nearby grass, and adds regeneration to any player nearby.
Enjoy painting the world a new look!
